Hey guys, this may come off as a noob post but it's a problem I've been dealing with for a while now and I'm getting discouraged. I'm not looking for diet advice. Literally I eat so much god damn food, even without a PWO meal I don't know how I'm not gaining weight at my caloric level..
Lets just say before the most recent addition to my diet, I'm sitting (as far as what MyFitnessPal shows me) at 4900 calories. The most recent addition yields 140 cal per 1/4 cup! I get 2 cups of that putting me around 6000 before a PWO meal is in the picture. If I workout, it's another 700 calories added to this.
NOTE : I previously went through my cabinets and matched the nutrition facts to the items I used on MFP to ensure the data is correct.
I will admit my training has been shitty the past two weeks, but prior to that my weight gain, and even my on-cycle weight gain was comparably lackluster to my fellow posters here.
I'm fairly fat right now, 20-25% BF on most charts I've seen. Not too upset about that, as I've literally been stuffing my face everyday... totally expected to get fat on my bulk.
I have Hypothyroidism, I take T4.. but I'm beginning to think my doctor has me on an outrageous dose or he's basing my thyroid disorder on a single TSH reading and not FT4, FT3, T3, T4, etc. Could he be treating me improperly and I be eating way too fucking much and just spinning my wheels?
I do have an active job, but I wouldn't say it's as hard as an outdoor construction job or anything.. I basically just build automobiles for 8hrs a day. Slowest cardio possible I think lol
I take 150mcg/daily of LEVOTHYROXINE. I'm 5'8", 197lbs, 24 y.o., 20-25% BF.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated guys! Again, I'm not looking for diet advice.. I can for sure say that I eat more than mother fuckers far bigger than myself. I made this thread in hopes that someone could relate and maybe help me solve this conundrum. Even when I miss a single meal due to sickness, or being out somewhere... I'd still be at 5500-6000 calories for the day. I just don't get it.
Thanks ahead of time fellas!
