I'm bored at work and figured this should drudge up some good conversation since I'm sure everyones tired of the "this is my first cycle, why does it suck" threads.
So, there is a poll attached for my benefit, but I'm curious as to what you guys are doing and why. I'm a low volume guy by nature, but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with high volume. Actually i would say I'm right in the middle now and it really depends on the intensity of that workout that day, and what muscle i am working. Some days 5 sets of 10 with 315 on squats and I am crawling outta the gym like a baby.
Here's what I consider low volume and high volume.
Low - 5-8 worksets per muscle group
High - 12-16 worksets per muscle group.
I don't want this turning into a bash session cause there is no right or wrong here. I'll have the Mods close it if that happens. I just thought it would illicit some good responses and a healthy debate. So make sure you tell us why you like it, if you change up and how often, how many sets, etc.
