hole in stopper

So i got my Geneza gear in. i was looking at the Flip tops and was curious to see if the logo was also on the stopper as well as the flip top. so i flippped the top. i found a hole/tear in the stopper. it looks like someone went over the top with a box cutter or something sharp enough to make a slight hole tear. i poked around at the hole to see if it was deep but couldnt really tell. Also i flipped all the tops off of my vials and this was the only one.

is it pierced? or just like badly formed? i dont see exactly how it is on the picture

i sent a ticket. its too damn hard to tell if it had been pierced all the way through or if it was just a scrape on top.

Thats what i was thinking. Id still open a ticket to see whats up but wouldnt be to weary to take it. Like stone said, one in a million probably. Im sure a simple mistake but im sure still 10ml of yummy npp!

They responded back to my ticket and said that there is no way that there is a hole in the stopper and probably just a slice from the manufacturer of the stoppers.

Still i will take the stopper off the vail and stretch it. this will show if there were any holes/trauma to the stopper. ill look at the bottom of the stopper when i do this to make sure that there are no holes that came through into the oil. also i will refilter.

best thing to do is cut the metal off the top and pull the stopper out alltogether and see if it has went all way threw if not then push the stopper back on the top and go go go.. if it is all the way threw then bin it,,, you dont know what is in that shit,,,,,,,,,

I just draw all my gear into a 20cc syringe, attach a .2 µm filter and go to work.

i will do what bulldog mentioned above. i will pull hte stopper off the vial and suck out all the oil with a 20ml syringe and put aside.

after i do this i will look at the botton half of the stopper to see if it was pierced all the way through. If it wasnt i will put the oil in the syringe back into a sterile vial, and use accordingly
