homebrew test e made a few mistakes, still good to use?

hey

this is my second homebrew

first time I homebrew 8 vials of master p and everything went fine.

This time I was brewing 40ml of test e at 250mg/ml and during the filter process the filter started to leak everywhere. I could only get half the brew into the vials. I ended up with approx. 22ml instead of 40ml.

Was it I put to much pressure on filter when filtering cuz I was impatient that made filter leak? or what causes it to leak?

also is it fine to use the 22ml of oil that I have that filterd alright or throw it out?

Were u using a syringe filter or bottletop?? Sounds like a syringe filter probably.

I would refilter it that's for sure just to be safe. No need to toss it out.

yes usually it means too much pressure.. too hot oil also could be the issue.. what brand syringe filter?

Most people get overzealous and blow the diaphragm on the syringe filter. In the future, either use larger syringes (30-40cc) or just keep an eye on the filter. When it starts to swell, back off. I've filtered using 3cc syringes before to save my thumbs, and while it is much easier, it's not that much faster. Your limit is still the filter not the pressure being applied. They are only capable of handling so much. I get impatient too, but this is one of those times where you can't be.
