Hope for those with tiny calves.

So, at the end of my senior year in high school my calves measure 13 1/4. I would spend the next 15 years trying to put size on them while barely getting any. I tried Arnold's workouts, frequent workouts, constantly changing up work outs with little gain to be had. I took a few years off after getting sick of the fact I had the calves of a 12 year old girl and no chance for symmetry. I'm 35 now and after 2 & 1/2 months of working out I'm sitting pretty at 17 1/2 inches. What changed? I'm not on a cycle or synthol. I'm concentrating on the contraction and holding it for a second or 2 at the top, hold for 10 seconds every 10 reps, I don't go heavy cuz I can't concentrate on and feel the contraction but go as heavy as that allows, I only take 30 secs brake during which I stretch and I only do 8-10 sets a workout. At most I hit em twice a week but the night after i hit them, I'm constantly contracting them. I stay away from seated cuz it mostly hits soleus and my calves were so nonexistent my soleus actually started to over grow my calves making it more difficult to feel there peak contraction. Hope this helps. I where shorts now. Hopefully I can get 18 inches and die happy.

I do 200 body weight reps every day, Just stand in place and raise up, contract & come down without resting

Good work OP. They are stubborn but eventually we're all gonna make it!

Everyone has a different tip/method for calves but ultimately they are like any other muscle group: you get what you put in, it just takes time (a lot).
I think the biggest issue most people have is that they just don't put in the work. People will gladly do 10 sets for arms but then throw in 3 for calves at the end of the week and expect them to grow.
I hate to use anecdotes but I'm just gonna say this: it's VERY rare that I ever see a 400lb+ person with small calves (even if you account for the extra fat).

Pics Please :)
Very true. Everyone has to experiment and find out what works for the. Weight does matter. Mine started growing like crazy when I started getting over 280 lb. I'm like 300 now. I also walk, a lot. 4-8 miles every day. I've done insane workouts like in that video to the point I would have problems walking out to my car and then have constant muscle spasms as I'm trying to navigate the pedals. Aside from strength gains, I made little in the way of size. As for pics, I can't get them to load off my phone. I really see point any ways. I have nothing to pre and if I was going to lie about something it wouldn't b this stupid. Plus, I coulda just photo shopped pics and posted. It would b nice if I could just one day havw 6% body fat like calves that came out of nowhere.
