How can I train to keep as much muscle as possible..?

When I lean out and my calories are restricted, I'm not as strong as when I'm bulking. How can I train to keep as much muscle as possible while cutting up even though my strength will be going down?????
 
workout 3-4 days per wk. Eat more protein less carbs. YOu'll lean out nicely. Strength should stay close to the same if u're doing it right.
 
It has everything to do with your diet, and rest. Also, do your best to not overtrain... you'll start feeling smaller as you lean out, so don't try and 'overcompensate' for it by working out too much...
 
I'm on a 5 day a week training regimen now. Chest monday, back tues, arms-wed, legs-thurs, shoulders-friday, and arms again on saturday. So should I group together bodyparts? BLOWN I don't understand how your strength would stay about the same when your restricting your calories under maintenance around 2,200 a day?
 
I prefer to group my bodyparts together, and lift 3-4 days a week. Heavy compounds work best for me. You probably will lose stength under a caloric deficit, but your goal is lose the least amount posssible.... a big reason why alot do 'cutting cycles' with anabolics is to help prevent that and LBM loss.
 
I agree that leaning out while using Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) is the best for maintaining and even adding muscle, but I can't do tren because it gives me bad acne and my face is just now clearing up from my last tren cycle. My source is raping me with anavar prices ...because he knows how they don't cause acne and are good for leaning out. Therefore, I can't afford the var...and I have EQ but with a calorie deficit I don't think that the EQ would do much at all.
 
AAS isn't necessarily the answer... but if you're going to run anything, why not just some prop?
 
no post cycle therapy (pct) involved in a low dose Anavar (var) cycle...test eod injection with prop don't want that...and natural test levels not affected with Anavar (var) low dose...

From Aboot, in an unrelated topic displaying Anavar (var) 's suppressiveness at low dose:

The fact that oxandrolone can be suppressive to the HPTA even at small doses for several hours alone would prevent it from being useful during post cycle therapy (pct) or between full cycles. As stated by Sheffeild-Moore et al. in their study: "Total serum T concentrations were within normal physiological range on day 0 (449 ± 35 ng/dL) and day 3 (441 ± 44 ng/dL) of OX treatment. However, by day 5, total serum T concentrations were significantly reduced (282 ± 45 ng/dL; P < 0.05) below day 0 and day 3 values [emphasis mine]..."(3). This means that even at a dose of 15mg per day an individual will be shut down, thus nullifying any attempt at post cycle therapy (pct).

Studies using low dosages of this compound note minimal interferences with natural testosterone production. Likewise when it is used alone in small amounts there is typically no need for ancillary drugs like Clomid/Nolvadex or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG). This has a lot to do with the fact that it does not convert to estrogen, which we know has an extremely profound effect on endogenous hormone production. Without estrogen to trigger negative feedback, we seem to note a higher threshold before inhibition is noted
 
I"m not using any aas, i'm leaning out nicely by just doing a high protein low carb diet. I'm maintaining most of my strength. Its in your diet and don't overtrain.

I'm doing the same...down fifteen pounds (yeah I wanted to lose weight) and my strength is staying about the same. I feel better overall as well.
