How long can someone Blast on TRT?

I was doing a 16 week blast and then advised that I could run it longer if I want due to the fact that I am on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) anyways.. So how long can someone blast for? I was perscribed pregneolone to clear the receptors while on a longer blast..

Any input?

why would you take pregenelone to " clear the receptors " lol
blasting for longer is fine but on longer cycles you could use a little less gear and possibly switch to different compounds during the cycle.

I was told that it helped clear the pathways... I read about it seems like a good thing to take but no where did it say anything about receptors... Just thought I would quote what I was told.

pregenlone isnt going to clear the pathways. receptors are CONSTANTLY being made in the body.
imo the reason that the receptor downregulation / clogged myth came about is that most water weight goes on at the start of a cycle and most people dont realize that if they are eating x [ 3000 , 4000 whatever] number of calories to grow that once they put on more weight their calorie requirement has gone up so if they dont up the calories and protein their gains will slow so they blame the receptors.

Agreed always up diet and training before gear.

Good point, diet and training is good.. What would pregnelone be used for?

Get a blood test to use as a healthy baseline so you know where you stand. Stay current with your bloodwork and at least and get it done every 3 months. Watch for changes and adjust accordingly. Write you cycle down, and monitor things. When you change your doses, add or or drop compounds, Keep what works, get rid of what doesen't.
It's only then after you watch close at
yourself over a period of time will you really know how long you can "blast" for.
-have a plan
-weigh the side effects vs. gains.
I have known some guys that have been
on for 10-15 plus years. Each to their own.

Pregnenolone is a natural hormone produced in the cellular mitochondria from cholesterol. It is the hormone from which all steroidal (sex) hormones are made, including androstenedione, DHEA, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Pregnenolone is thought to improve mental function and mood, and research indicates it may also be useful for treatment of PMS, arthritis, and stress.

Because pregnenolone is the precursor of all steroidal hormones, it has been suggested that boosting the body’s pregnenolone levels through supplementation will offer the same health benefits as taking multiple hormone supplements. Preliminary research suggests that pregnenolone supplements may indeed offer some of the same benefits as DHEA supplements and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Like DHEA and HRT, pregnenolone has been reported to help slow the symptoms of mental and physical decline that are a natural part of aging. In fact, in one laboratory study pregnenolone was found to be 100 times more effective for memory enhancement than any other steroid or steroid-precursor.

Pregnenolone used for the treatment of arthritis since the 1940's, when it was first discovered that it was effective against joint swelling and inflammation. Pregnenolone has also been used to treat symptoms of depression, fatigue, and anxiety, and is sometimes sold in combination supplements containing other natural hormones noted for their ability to promote sleep ease mental distress, such as melatonin and DHEA.

Some people swear that pregnenolone is a sort of fountain of youth, and that these supplements can help you lose weight, build muscle, increase your sex drive, and restore youthful vigor; however, such reports are anecdotal (not scientifically proven) in nature. In addition, it is impossible to determine which hormones will be stimulated by pregnenolone supplements; taking too much could theoretically upset your hormonal balance, leading to unwanted side effects such as breasts in men or facial hair in women.

Pregnenolone supplements are available in capsule form at most pharmacies, health food stores, and online distributorships. Pregnenolone is also an ingredient in many combination supplements that claim to fight the effects of aging, promote sleep, or increase mental function. Daily doses range from 25 milligrams to 600 milligrams per day, depending on the condition being treated.

I was going to start a new thread but saw this in the archives.

Is it beneficial for guys on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to take Pregnelone?? Ive read that DHEA levels drop when on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for long period of time??

Ive read Pregnelone cream is better than taking DHEA pills as well.

Any input from the Vets is helpful

preg is extremely beneficial. there is another thread on it that came up very recently. enough with this blast talk. you can blast yourself until your balls shrivel, acne covers your body, and your heart grows to the size of a bowling ball, though that talk is for elsewhere since here all we do is trt.
