How many CALORIES in one meal is ok???

Ok, so currently, on workout days, I am for 4k calories. I eat 5 meals a day, so that breaks down to 800cals per meal.

I have heard the body can only handle so many calories at a time. IE: 500ish? Is there any truth to this? Because, I also sometimes like to eat less cals at bed, so I may eat 1200CALS directly after working out, or eat more at breakfast. BUT, is that to many and just asking to be stored as fat?

Recently been eating way more than usual and scale isnt going up :sulk:

Off days, brought calories to 3200
Lift days, cals 3600-4000

Usually about 300carbs, 300pro, a bit less carbs on off days....


Currently on Test E and IGF LR3

Well, I write everything I eat, so should I post up a whole week? I do eat different items each day...
 
your type 1 diabetic.. whats your carb intake?? how much insulin do you use in a day?
 
and just post up 2 training days worth of food so i can get an idea of what your doing

200-350 carbs depending, I usually use about 30 units of nolvalog (fast acting) total for the day, ever since I have been on igf anyways...before IGF it was more like 40 units per day.

I also take a basal aka (long acting) and was dosing at 30units daily, have now cut that to 20 units and BS levels are pretty good.

I will post up a week tonight, my log book is at home.

I work as an MA, so I am on my feet alot. And, do you think taking LESS insulin would mean LESS muscle? I hope that dosent sound stupid lol, I mean, I COULD take 50 units of long acting and just up the carbs...I know insulin is anabolic yet can store fat as well. I seriously research insulin ALL THE TIME, and its hard to understand.

Seems sad it took this long to make that kind of progress, I hope diabetes isnt working to hard against my goals....
 
great progress but your more then 11% bf.. Also, you must be tall to be 201 pounds? im 200 pounds and look twice as wide as you almost lol. im short as fuck though.

ok i see room for alot of improvement here...

im going on vacation tomorrow.. so it'll be a few days before i can really critique this...

the first thing off the top of my head is too many shakes... i see carbs before bed, that's a no no unless its pwo..
