How many times a week should cardio be done

hey guys im sure this question has been asked a million times before but i cant seem to find the right thread about it but ive been told that HIIT cardio is the way to go for fat loss but i was wondering how many times a week should that be done because i know too much cardio can actually break down muscle as well
 
bulking minimum = 3 times a week for 20 min

cutting = 6 times a week.. 5 times minimum.. twice a day.. morning empty stomach cardio low intesnity 45min.. low intensity 45min pwo...

and a kick ass diet regardless of whether you bulk or cut
 
its really predicated on your goals...

i personally like low intensity... but im not gonna act like HIIT doesn't work.. you just have to take a different approach with it
 
thanks 3j what do you mean by a different approach with it and as for my goals im 5'11 about 215 lbs with a bf% of around 18- 20% not sure on exacts still have to get tested but im trying to drop down to about 195 and at some point be at 10% bf
 
im slowly bulking right now. im not in any hurry like before. man was I misguided. I gain fat faster than anything else and it was ridiculous. it was like 90% fat 5%strength 5% muscles.

so now, i don't know if you believe such, but Im clean bulking with 1-2 cheat days per 2 weeks.

with cardio, mr. 3J hit it on the head.

cardio kills gains? if you overdo it i guess.

there's also GPP. you could try that kind of cardio
