How many train 6 days a week?

I was just wondering how many of you train 6 days aweek hitting each body part twice a week. I used to train only 5 and hit a muscle group once a week for like 5 yrs but then within the last 2 months a started training 6 days and hitting a muscle group twice a week. My training routine is as follows:
Mon: Chest/Triceps/abs
Tues: Back/Biceps
Wed:Shoulders (AM)/Legs/calves/abs(pm)
Thur: Chest/Triceps
Fri: Back/Biceps/Abs
Sat:Shoulders (AM)/Legs/calves(pm)
Sun: OFF
This work out is rough but I hit a wall and I think my body likes this work out better.
I noticed better gains and strength with this work out plan. Let me know what you guys think?

Am I assuming you are using ultra low volume each day? If not, then I think your new routine isn't going to last long with gains.

I go heavy one day for a body part and then go lighter day two and switch different exercises as well. I also upped my protein intake and carbs. The first two weeks were rough man but I like it better. I am on a cycle as well so that probably helps out! HA

On cycle or not, I think you are making a mistake. I am quite sure you could make better gains with a lower volume routine that that. How old are you?

I am 26 yrs old. 5'10 210lbs I have put on 5lbs already from the cycle. I just feel stronger and pumped up from the work out. I started it before i was on the cycle. I only plan to do this work out for another month because i heard it is good to shock the system every once in a while.

I used to train six days a week. I just couldn't buy into the 3 or 4 day routines. Glad I tried one because I will never go back. Im doin pullinbigs routine which is 3 days a week. I feel better recover better and gettin stronger. Basically Im just now making gains. This just my 2 cents I like low volume low rep hardcore routines.

I work out 4 to 5 a wk.

Day 1: Chest, Back, Delts, Traps
Day 2: Legs, Bis, Tris, Abs
Day 3: OFF
Day 4: Chest, Back, Delts, Traps
Day 5: Legs, Bis, Tris, Abs
Day 6: OFF
Day 7: Repeat

So far so good. I still feel it a may be a little much. I'm going to keep running it until I feel a change is warrented. Best of luck to you bud. Keep that volume low.

give it 12 weeks and let us know how it goes. :Pump:

I was going to train that way though out my entire cycle. Then probably go back to my old one. I will keep you guys posted! Thanks for the info?

I think you totally missed the point. Lots og people make the mistake of increasing volume too much because they think the steroids will enable them to be in super recovery mode. Fact of the matter is, vollume shouldn't be increased more than about 10% when on cycle. In fact, I continue my normal volume and make awsome gains.

6 days a week.. 3 hrs a day :)
love ittt :))

a pump is indeed better than cummin ;-)

Once a week per bodypart is more than enough for 99% of the guys.

At the intensity i train, and i am not an amial like some, i could not get away with more than four times a week, and i take days here and thier when i need it. And that is quite often. You can not train with intensity 6 days a week, and make gains for an extended period of time, unless you are Ronnie Coleman, and even on large drug schedules most cannot sustain that.

I am loving it so far. I have a friend that is pretty big he is like 5'11 250 and he has been doing the same work out for 3 yrs now and when he started he was only 200lbs and he loves it. He also does a good share of cycles though. I know my body pretty good when it tells me enough is enough I will change the routine back.

Exactly. If I get to more than 3-4 days a week, I start vomiting before I make it even half way through my workouts. My intensity is sky high when training.
