How much gain is usually kept

I've only done a few cycles of test e deca and dbol I used Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) during cycle blast after wards ad ran pct Nola 40/40/40/40 along with clomid 50/50/50/50. Wondering wHen doing all to keep gains what is the usual percentage lose coming off a cycle? Seem like I lose 40 pounds off my max bench, drop 20 pounds on various shoulder machines, and so on within weeks of last pin. Any suggestions you have to keep more of gains? Am I doing something else wrong or is this about normal?

Well remember to up your calories as your cycle gets longer. Obviously if you put on 5 lbs of muscle its gonna burn more cals, 10lbs will burn even more.... before you know it your calorie deficient, the body goes catabolic, and your gains diminish or just kinda stop cold.

Everyone has a challenge in front of them to keep gains after a cycle. Most people agree to keep your calories high and lower the reps down on your exercises. I think instead of dwelling on what you lost, concentrate on making great gains while your on. That way your still ahead.

I'm still ahead just when I go from cycle benching 315 to 265 it's kinda depressing but I am with you focuse on gain keep calories high! Be happy

I am thin so I worry about losing the gains, I have been thin all of my life. This is important because the gain or fluctuation of weight will be more noticeable and obvious I am using. I need the weight to not fluctuate as much.
 
also when u see people saying they dropped like 5+ pounds after their cycle, you gotta take into account that other things play a roll, like water weight
 
during pct , if u are not , u need to be eating alot , your natural test production is goign to be surpressed when u come off and this time is crucial to be eating alot (more than maintenance cals) in order to preserve and maintain muscle while u r still low test
 
I only have 1 cycle under my belt so whatever I say is probably not totally correct but this big ass guy at the gym said plan on keeping about 10lbs of muscle gained after a cycle... In my experience I went from 185lbs to 210 and a month after my cycle ended I fell to 200lbs due to lack of eating(holidays + busy at work). I've read a bunch and I'm going to try and run nolvadex the entire time I'm off my cycle to keep the cortisone/estrogen levels in check along with a high calorie diet.
