Hey guys what is the chances of your natural test production being
shut down permanantly?

When your liver values elevate will they eventually return to normal and what does it take to damage your liver beyond repair.

Just thought I would throw some questions up in the air so me and some guys would know how to limit the roid use

Thanks guys

Even after years on, people have been brought back, hard to call much of anything "permanent." However the longer your on the harder it will be to come back, HCG will help keep you somewhat normalized to some extent.

As long as you dont eat your liver to about 80% capacity or so, the liver can regenerate itself, obviously you would not want to be pushing your luck anyway. If your skin is turning yellow your pushing your luck way too far.

If you follow the rules and your not stupid, you will be fine.

This is true.. even if you have been on for 3yrs your natural test production can be restored..

Well said, I agree with Mudge 100%!

I am a perfect case of this, As I have posted I have been on for 5 years with some really heavy cycles

Anyway recently I was in the hospital for a non related reason, they ran every test, and I mean every test from MRI to blood tests to ultrasounds.

The doctor didnt even believe me when I told him how long and what I have been taking

I have my doubts that any length of time could permanently shut down your HPTA. If you arent careful, then really long cycles could cause heart or liver problems, but thats where periods of much lower amounts of gear are really important, if you are staying on for a long time

Ditto!

If you search around for azoospermia you can find some articles on this perhaps, I know I've seen one or two, where people have been brought back from hard shutdown.

Hey guys, I think it matters because of the overall stress put on your organs. My brother died at 42 and the people that did the autopsy couldn't believe he had a heart attack with the kind of shape he was in. Fact of the matter is long term consistant cycles is drug abuse, and it can catch ya. If your smart and have docs check ya out often, you got better chances. But the stress of pushing your body ain't good long term. Shit, my brother got all his gear from a doc!

I think it's all genetics on this part. Same thing with smoking, there are plenty of people who smoke packs and packs a day and never have a problem and then there are those who smoke a pack a week or something and get lung cancer at the age of 40. I guess what I'm saying is you really can't make a blanket statement.

I know for sure that any liver damage even minor is not reversable however people can lead perfectly normal/healthy lives with some type of liver damage.

Natural test product can be reversed in most cases but I'm sure that that years of non-stop steroid use will make it impossible to reboot your test production.

The liver CAN regenerate itself, its the only organ in the body that can do so. However if you push too far, it will not be able to recouperate.

The liver won't rejuvenate itself after its cells have been completey destroyed by the excess of toxins. Sure it has the ability to recover but once the liver tissue is dead, milk thistle wont' help you.

Search around for liver regeneration. I dont think anybody here, hopefully is stupid enough to do serious damage.

Yes, this is very true. Many people traumatise and abuse their liver on a regular basis, usually whilst out drinking alcohol. However, the liver is a remarkable organ since despite this self-inflicted harm it is very resilient and generously forgiving, using its powers of regeneration when necessary.

The liver is the body's production centre. It manufactures proteins that are the building blocks of the body. It also makes bile acids and fats that are needed in the process of digestion and the transport of nutrients. Another role it plays is contributing to maintaining the balance of blood sugar in the body. If this isn't enough responsibility the liver also helps to metabolise many hormones and drugs too.

Be warned, however. Don't be fooled into thinking that you can damage your liver time and time again and that you don't have to worry because everything will be all right, that the liver will always repair itself and see you right. There comes a point when the damage becomes irreversible through a process called cirrhosis. This is where the normal structure of the liver is lost and replaced with scar tissue, a process called fibrosis. Since it is not possible to know when this time might be, always remember that with alcohol and with most other things in life, moderation is best.

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) facilitates liver regeneration after partial hepatectomy in rats.
