How to drag my test levels in gutter for a Testosterone test ??

Now you can hate me all you want but I am 21 and I had to quit working out 2 years ago. My last tested natural test level was 373 that too at 10 in the morning. I am a university kid and my GPA was 4.00 and now I am on academic probation and have been depressed so bad for a year or so. My hgb is 10.3, I have a dadbob now, E.D as well and literally no energy thought the day. I did use some Dbol when I was 16 without pct(still have it). I don't want to be on TRT or score some legal gear. I just want Clomid or HcG so I can at least pass my next semester and not kill myself. My doc wants me tested again before referring me to a specialist. My doc will refuse me any sort of help if I have borderline levels. How can I seriously screw up my levels before a test ?
I have finasteride, Dbol, antihistamines, my gf's birth control, prescribed temazepam in arsenal right now. Would chugging Dbol couple of days before drag my T levels to shit ? I just wanna get helped because my T levels have made my life hell.

Sounds like you need trt. I would find a doctor that will help. Some docs will try clomid only, if you like......then turn to testosterone if that doesn't work. FIND A DOC.....you deserve to feel good.
There are some.docs on this site if ya like. Best of luck bro.
And MERRY Christmas

instead of dragging it to shit, answer some questions first

1. whats your nutrition like?

2. any drug use? if so, list it up

3. how many hours of sleep you getting a night?

Many of the symptoms of depression mirror those of low testosterone, and you sound like you're suffering from a severe bout. The fact that you mention killing yourself has me concerned.

I'd suggest discussing treatment for this with your doctor as a first course of action.

Depression is strongly correlated with low testosterone, particularly low free testosterone. Replacement therapy will help. There was an academic study where 400 mg / fortnight was found to be reasonably effective. In my case, I find that TRT is equivalent to a low dose of something like Sertraline / Zoloft, but without the side effects. So if you're in a really bad place, it might not dig you out of the hole.

If you want to dig into TRT as a treatment for depression, look up Bignoknow on Youtube. He still has pretty severe symptoms and relapses, but it appears to help him.

As for diagnosing low testosterone, the Nebido website has a set of guidelines based on Morgenthaler's work.

View attachment 567096

Essentially they boil down to a total testosterone level below 350 ng/dL, or free testosterone below 8 ng/dL are indicative of problems.

The other thing to consider is that you might have subclinical hypogonadism. This is where your FSH and LH levels are high, or above range, indicating that your body wants more testosterone, but cannot produce it.

In your case I'd suggest the following:
  • Discuss treatments for depression with your GP.
  • Get a repeat blood test for total testosterone.
  • Ask to have free testosterone tested. This can be done directly, or indirectly through calculating it from your SHBG.
  • Also get your FSH and LH levels checked.
Unfortunately, there aren't any magic bullets that will have you feeling like Superman in a matter of days. It might be the case that two or three things in conjunction get you most of the way to feeling better.

From reading your post , I am assuming your 373 T number is not a recent lab test? You need current labs to know if your depression is corolated to Low Testosterone. I would Not try to fool with it. Get tested and see where you are at.

If your borderline, and your doctor will not treat you, find a New Doctor who will. At your age, I would definately start with HCG and Clomid to get your HPTA running tip top. Your too young for TRT , if it can be avoided.

There are many other things which can lead to depression, as 3J is eluding to. Get your labs done, and you will be able to start figuring this out.

wow, how low do you need to be before treatment is initiated with your doc? At the age of 21 you will need some differentials ruled out most definitely before treatment is started with TRT.

Sorry to hear of your Situation.

Don't take the Dbol, it's Not going to help anything, most likely make things worse in the Long Run.

And I wouldn't be taking those Benzo's for Sleep (Temazepam/Restoril).
Benzo's can make you even more Depressed over time.

Have you done any Recent Bloodwork, if not, that's where I would start.

And I agree, that if your Current Physician won't help you, find another that will.
Good Luck ~ Wish you All the Best.............................. JP

I agree the smartest choice would be to talk to your doctor to try and get his input, but if he won't help you and you've looked at all the potential causes that you are willing to look at, There's a few things you can do the week before a test to lower your T levels.

- Change your diet to a shitty one, eat a lot of fatty / high sugar foods,
- Workout with heavy weights the right amount of time before your test so that it catches your T level after the initial spike and in the recovery phase when your T would naturally be at a low point.
- Beat your meat like it owes you money lol.
- And stay on a horrible sleep schedule the few days leading up to the test.

Now i would also have to add, that if you have to do all that to get on Trt then maybe you shouldn't be on it. But i guess if someone is that desperate it's a much safer option then just buying it from an illegal source. At least you would be monitored by a doctor and bloodwork.

Its terrible men have to go through this to improve their quality of life. T levels are IMO one, if not the most important aspect to manhood. Someone elses decision should not effect your infinitude. Hopefully more progressive medical professionals are on the horizon, if not I am going to have to get cloned soon

You don't need TRT, you need a good endocrinologist. You caused your poor health by taking steroids at 16 and screwing up your HPTA. Your body was still growing, adjusting, going through puberty, etc and you messed that up by doing drugs. Now, you'll have to find a good doc so you don't further screw yourself up. At 21, you have your whole life ahead of you and if you live until 80, you'll have 60 years of poking yourself, dealing with docs, etc. What if you run out of insurance or they stop covering it? How would you explain to your future wife any fertility issues, etc. See all the problems you're going through now with your doc? Prepare for a future of that. I've got friends that were on TRT for years and their doc retired. Now they have a new doc who won't put them on TRT. My insurance company now wants you to test every year and be under 800 to continue it. Now, you can always pay for TRT but why pay one of these men's clinic's ****no price discussion allowed*** a month for medicine? I don't see diabetics paying a 'diabetic clinic'? And the TRT clinics still use doctors, the same ones that my insurance pays for. I see it. I go to see the same doc and pay nothing while the guy behind me pays $****for the same care!

Now I bet someone will come here and say, "oh, if you're on HCG, you'll be fertile." but nobody knows if that's 100% certain. We all react differently. Before TRT and HCG, I had 77m sperm. It went down to 20m. I'm still considered fertile but it'll a big change.

This ^^^ People still have NO understanding about men and Testosterone. People are only putting it in the corner with BB. My buddy is not a BB or lifter. He knows all my history. So he is 64 65 years old. He had some problems ( old age) and I talked to him about getting his level checked and maybe get on TRT with Test if the lab results show he is low.

OMG, Holy shit you could not believe his reaction when the word Testosterone treatment came up. I got him to ask his doctor for a test / labs and the doc told him he does not need to check his Test level. The doc, without doing a lab test, told him his test level was ok and had nothing to do with ANYTHING. So my friend suffers from some problems ( not too bad) that you would think , it sounds like low "T" in an aging male.

Asshole, is just going with the doc and will not ask again for a test/labs.

It's time they begin to recognize the problems associated with low "T" begin regular testing over age 60 ... IMOP

If it was more profitable for the drug companies you'd see exactly that. Problem is testosterone is generic, so no real profits to be made. You see one company repackaging it as Nebido with a long ester and castor oil to slow absorption, and they seem to have succeeded in grabbing market share in Europe.

Take the profit out and there is no interest in generally improving people's health.

The OP is one of the reasons why it's so hard to get TRT. Here is a 21 year old person, who has screwed up his endocrine system with illegal drug use and is now looking to tank his testosterone levels so he can get on legit TRT.

This right here is the reason why it's so hard to get TRT.

Listen we see it everywhere with many medications. The abuse of many drugs has made it so difficult for the legitimate persons who truly needs the medicine to receive and obtain. The Medication Subutex which in many cases is a live saving medication for the unfortunate addicts needs, so very difficult to get even when a valid script is there. Buprenorphine or Subutex are schedule III drugs and they are treating it like a schedule 2 for the most part and this being done by the Drug companies. ( as far as how it is generally treated by the Doc's and the Pharmacies.

SO just by attitude and misunderstanding we who may need some medications are being pushed out of the ability to get the help.

Rad140, 10mg per day, lowered my test from 11.8 to 4.2 and got me onto trt, you f*cked yourself up but you shouldn't have to suffer, good luck

He's 21....test level 373. That's low as shit. Don't need lower, just need the right doc.
OP...hit up a doc on this site.
