Well I'm not going to a doctor cause I have no insurance and no money for a doctor or tests. Anyway, I'm a believer in traditional medicine, just wondered if Western meds can be helpful too... It was a mistake to try the roid, as I had great results without them, with herbs alone, it's a lesson for me... I don't have any threatening symptoms, just obviously damaged HPA leading to moodiness and low energy/fatigue.
Yeah, not only estrogen, LH and FSH and prolactin levels probably went to hell.. I guess I'll research buying Clomid or Nolva now, I assume 20mg per day, thanks for advice.
I also don't believe in doctors/hormonal tests too much cause I used to have crazy hormonal dysfunction when I was younger, for which they tried to teat me with some poisonous med that made me really sick, but after quitting it and changing my lifestyle to healthy one, mainly changing my food, helped better than any meds and fixed things... and knowing how easily docs prescribe meds, like contraceptives that can be harmful, etc I'm careful. I'm gonna read up on Nolva/Clomid side effects and warnings cause I think at least one of them was cancerogenic in mice. I probbly should force myself to mild exercise through fatique/apathy, cause exercise alone stimulates HPA pretty well... As to how I know that HPA is damaged--I was getting all these symptoms by the end of each deca injection period (starting after 3rd injection) when hormone levels drop--if HPA was more or less untouched I wouldn't experience this when injection wears off, I'd just be "back to normal" sort of, but clearly my own hormones went to hell and I was living off deca. Another reason why I don't need tests is cause I'm very sensitive to even a slight change in hormone levels--test will probably show "within low end of normal range" levels--and since my old levels weren't measured won't detect abnormality--while my body is reacting to lowered levels badly.
