HRT - Inject or Gel - for more stable blood values

Bros, I'm getting conflicting advice from doctors & very knowledgable bros regarding this. Swale, Lawn, Buffdoc, others.....some say gels (androgel or compounding pharmacy "natural" gel) create a spike in levels, where a long-ester test like enth or cyp creates more even levels, some say visa-versa. What do you think?? Is one "better" than the other if your considering HRT??

Well.....for what it's worth, I'm on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and IMO, injections are the only way to go, you don't have to worry about applying Gels or a Patch every single day for the rest of your life.

The shaving the scrotum part of the patch was defiantly a no for me. Shot are the way to go, if you forget the cream or patch a day or 2 your levels are going to be spiking. You can do a shot a week and your good to go.

Mr. B, you are having a tough night...LOL

This is the second post I had to help you out with...and I'm not trying to pick on you.

They specificallyt say not to put the gel or the patch anywhere near your balls!

You put the patch or the gel on your arms and chest or thigh. My gel actually gives me a picture of the good spots and the spots you stay away from!

Also, shave your balls!!! The chics dig it! Dont you like a shaved pussy? I do! and the girls like a trimmed man too! LOL

The only argument I think that can be made for the gel/patch is that it more closely matches the circadian rhtyhm of your natural testosterone levels.

Me, I couldn't care less. I want to have nice mid-high test levels 24/7.

I'd recommend the injections.

Actually there are certain brands that go on the scrotum while most others do not. From what I know you get more consistent levels from patch, but I would always prefer inject.

Could you please tell me which brands they are.

LS.....not sure which brands or if they are even still available........but when I first started on my Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), my Doc said I could go on Andriol or Patches which do go on your scrotum. When I went to see the Endro, he said that going on your sack was OLD technology, and they don't do that any more. Obviously someone forgot to tell my family physician.

Just an FYI.

LS giving sexual advice too:D hey Bro I know you'd never pick on me, your not that kind of Bro;)

LS,
Actually the original patch, testoderm I believe, ws specifically designed to do on the scrotum. It's only Androderm that has the warning about that.
And yes, shaving the balls is cool. My wife shaves for me, so I return the favor!

I've done the patches and the gels, and personally, I like the shots. Easy and clean. My levels usually sucked on the topicals anyway.
