so this is not testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) related, i wouldnt think anyways... Heres the deal ive been under A LOT of stress and anxeity lately and i just started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) 3weeks ago maybe 4.. Well i dont know whats going on but i feel such a pressure around like my lungs and heart. Its inside my body and not muscular. Now ive never had anxeity attacks and im thinking that is what this is?? I thought i would ask here since it seems alot of people on here come from alot of different medical conditions.. Maybe its just a cold building in my lungs or something but i thought id ask before i see the doc.... So if anyone has a idea please let me know.. i have noticed that if im doing something that totally occupies my mind i dont notice the pain but if im sitting like i am now i feel it. Im not thinking of anything so what gives?? I have had some MAJOR life changes to the career or lack there of so maybe it sub consious? anyways i could use some ideas, THANKS!

Since you say you under alot of stress and going through major life changes, it sounds like anxiety. People who never had a panic attack will often rush to the hospital thinking it's a heart attack. Also being preoccupied is one of the tools to reduce anxiety; something that you mention is curbing your symptoms. Google breathing exercises for anxiety and progressive muscle relaxation. Take it from me, when my therapist mentioned this I thought it was all bullshit. But it works. Slowing down your breathing kick starts the parasympathetic system and in turn, calms you down.

serious question.... Are you getting laid at all right now. Cause i know when im in a dry spell i do suffer some anxiety, non testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) related, and doing some cardio for 45 min or weights for 30-45 min takes off the edge. Try it.

My therapist also recommended that I have sex to relieve anxiety so I believe it. And exercise, like you mentioned, is a great stress reliever.

If you haven't already, check your blood pressure. My BP was normal and consistent before starting a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) protocol. I am now 2.5 weeks in and my BP is through the roof.

body needs to get used to the deficeint hormones that are being replaced. Stay calm, guys.

thanks for the quick replys, im calm, just sucks cause its painful.. never had this before its a weird feeling but im calm..

No dry spell here, im ok on that part.. I didnt hit pornstar status yet though.....:dunno:

I will look up breathing and see if that helps! I really dont wanna have to go to the doc if i dont need to...... It almost feels like a bad cold in my lungs or something but i feel fine and have been fine for the past few days that this has been going on... I havent coughed once or even have a fever, nothing... Weird but some major shit went down last tuesday and about thursday is when this started so it has to just be that.. Like i said im not thinking about the situation all the time when im at home but damn i must be,,now that you say it if i had pain in my arm i probably would go to the hospital cause it almost feels like that in a way........

It's painful? Usually people confuse the discomfort with pain but if it's actually painful I would call the doctor? How old are you by the way?

i felt the same way my first 2 shots.. It was pretty intense, like a constant panic attack.. It became bearable around day 4 both times.. I dont get that feeling anymore.. I posted about that a while back.. Keep us posted on it..

im 32, i never had a panic attack before to know what its supposed to feel like... I dont wanna say its very bad painful but it is very uncomfortable.. its frickin WEIRD......

I was recently taking an anti inflammatory for about a week before this started, possible this would have something to do with it??????
I have stopped taking them and i wanna say i feel better but at best its a little less frequent....

I just remembered that at the time I was having that reaction to the testosterone, I figured out that I was more sensitive to simple carbs than I was before I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) There seemed to be a correlation with simple carbs and that crazy feeling I had.. It was like someone was stepping on my chest and I couldn't breath.. Also, like Chip said, CARDIO, just walikng at a good pace helped me.. And yeah, it was fricken weird for me too.. I think your body is having a harder time adjusting than mine did.. Having said that, I would still go to a walk in clinic and just get a physical to be sure your BP and other things are in a safe range. Good luck Man, let us know how your making out..

BTW are you on an AI.. I assume you are bc you are a Maximus client.. But if not, you need one! I know for me, after taking my first dose of anastrozol I felt much calmer.. I didn't start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) w/ Chip.. I was w/ this quack shooting me up w/ 300mgs of test every 2 weeks and refused to prescribe an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) for me.. Im far from an expert, but, I'm pretty sure my reaction to the test had alot to do w/ the spike in E2 after the injections.. Just trying to trace it back for you.. Hope I'm not confusing you even more

Panic attacks/high BP/immune deficiency....add in natrol brand 5-htp TIMED RELEASE version only 100mg pills no higher. Test lowers serotonin, 5-htp being the serotonin precursor. Serotonin is needed for attention, immunity, energy, sleep(conversion to melatonin),digestion - everything. You can take 50mg (half pill) in the AM and 100mg 1 hr before bed. Don't take more than 100mg at once timed release. Non timed release is junk as are higher doses at once. Add 100mg gaba in AM and PM for anxiety and mild nervous system sedation. Also taurine a couple hundred mg twice a day can help as can huperzine A if needed for extra acetylcholine. DHEA 25mg at night too, I use schiff brand because it's dirt cheap. Macuna Pruriens for L-dopa 2-3x daily one full capsule each time. Those are my dirty little secrets guys enjoy. Need the neurotransmitters for stress relief. And I can't do SSRIs or their sister drugs and don't recommend them. Sounds like a lot of work but when you walk around feeling 100x everyone around you all the time you realize it's worth it. I just put all this shit in some weekly pill boxes so I just pop them and go. Armor thyroid 30mg once in the morning too as test raises thyroid binding globulin, decreasing free thyroid hormones.

what is this, and where to get it??? im gonna check this out, i have to say thank god today hasnt been as bad so maybe whatever was in my system is settling out now.. Can anti-inflammatorys do that to you being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? my gut says no but any ideas??? Scary this is i read awhile ago that celebrex was linked to giving people strokes and heart attacks and here i was not remembering this and was taking it for my pain issues in my shoulder and foot.

Here is a question, i phucked up my shoulder 3.5 yrs ago, had 3 surgerys to try to repair it and the surgerys were all a success. I should say i ripped the labrum the first time, had surgery and was ok. Went back to work and i re-tore it only 3mths out from the first surgery. So i had a 2nd to repair what was ripped again after the 1st. Now a yr later im still in pain so i had a 3rd surgery which was a bicep tenodetis (i cant spell it) and some bone shaving.. Anyways after all of this a yr later after the third im still in pain and now actually im over a yr out from the 3rd and it does suck.. Now my question is, can growth hormones help heal this issue of mine?? Doc says he is confused as to why i still have pain, and says im out of any medical book so they dont understand my shoulder. Ive been to different docs and they say the same i should be fine the surgery repairs all look good and nothing else is torn or looks off.... I just wanna get healed and get back to life so will growth hormones help????

Also i cant reply to PM yet i guess my post count isnt high enough.... Im working on it..

Illtemper I'm glad to hear that your reacting to the hormones better.. I knew you would, I had all the same reactions you had in the beginning.. They just didn't last as long as yours did.. Everyone reacts different..
I always get a kick out of hearing the commercials for celebrex and all these other toxins the pharmacutical companies are pushing.. The laundry list of side effects at the end of the commercial are said in such a sweet voice as if sudden death and stroke are no big deal.. Lol.. Then ask the doc to give you bio-identical testosterone to treat symptoms of low T and they kick you out of the office.. It's crazy!!
Anyways, I hope the ride stays smooth from here out.. Good luck
BTW, I don't know anything about HGH maybe someone else can answer that for you?

I agree with you on the docs, they really do just seem to push any drug they can rather then finding the real problem.... just like my doc giving me anti depressants cause i said i was tired and didnt feel like doing anything anymore.. HA and to think it was all from Low T.. He would of never checked my test levels if i didnt ask for it to be done.......

Anyhow you really think its the hormones that are causing this issue?? It been 3-4weeks already if i was gonna have a reaction wouldnt of happened eariler? Well i guess it could be a number of things.... Im sure the stressful situation i find myself in doesnt help matters....

Cjw, everything you listed is that usually available at vitamin shop?? Ill give it a shot and see how it works, im all about feeling like a million bucks!
Thanks for that!
