IBS and periods

My fiance suffers from IBS. Seems to be exceptionally bad around the time she is getting her peroid.
Anyone want to share experience or suggestions on dealing with this? She is taking Zelnorm and laxatives right now and has been for a couple years. Also would she expect to see any sort of interaction/complications should she start an Anavar cycle?

i'm confused!!! IBS is Irritable Bowl Syndrome.. WHY is she using laxatives???

IBS is excited and brought on by STRESS, anxiety and emotion.. around her period, there is a hormonal shift so that could incite her IBS..

Anavar will change her hormones so it could make her IBS worse or it could make it better.. Ya really don't know how her body will react as EVERYbody is different and IBS is pretty personal ya know..

If she wants to try Anavar (var) and is prepared for the possible sides, then i say go for it.. if her IBS becomes unbearable, she can stop the var.. But honestly CC, its really trial and error here babe.. kinda like my life lol..

There are two types of IBS. 1. the person cant controll thier bowells at all and are constantly running to the toilet. 2. the person cant go at all or hardly at all. SHe has the 2nd kind which is why she takes laxatives and has been for many many months probabably years(which is unsafe IMO).
She tried Anavar (var) once but only for a week. At the time she didnt see any sort of effect on her IBS problem positive or negative but I wonder how it would effect her after a couple of weeks. She missed her period too while on anavar.

IMHO... if possible, consult a doctor..
I would not even dare to give advice in this situation because i have NO idea how the Anavar (var) would affect her IBS...

However, knowing Anavar (var) and its NORMAL sides, i would think that it would not cause any problems.. but again, i can't be sure...

Best of luck!

Hi CarolinaCrackah ... I am under my husbands account trying to get some info / help. I am having a terrible time coming up with a diet to lose weight AND help with my IBS w/ constipation. Sounds like your wife and I have the same problems and the week before my period I look about 6 months pregnant ! Lots of bloating and gas! It is very depressing! How is your wife doing? Does she have issues with protein shakes?
