IFA question...what in the world?

hey..
anyone ever hear of IFA?? (international fitness association)..????
i went on their website and easily passed their 'trainer' and 'sports nutritionist' tests....100 q's each..easy.....now im a 'qualified trainer/sports nutritionist'....kinda sounds like crap.
are they repitable?...do gyms really take this kinda certification????

training certification is a joke for the most part. thats why you see so many trainers in gyms that dont have a clue on what they are doing.

i got certified a few years ago at the request of a friend. ours was a bit more intensive than yours though. anyway some of the folks in my class got certified and they had never been in a gym before. =0l

its a money racket. costs me an additional 75 bucks per year to stay certified and all i gotta do is watch a film that i must purchase from them.

yeah when I took my course but never wrote the test there wasa guy in there wojh never lifted in his life he passed the written test but fialed the practicle

yeah the written wa semi tough as it had a bouytr 100 q's and none of them really had much to do witrh training. lot to memorize.

the practical was kinda a joke as our instructor demonstrated before she tested. she was nice but kinda lost too on different training techniques.
