Impossible to check gyno?

I plan to start cycling steroids in the future, but for now, I have a question:

I already have many lumps under both of my nipples that I got during puberty around age 15/16. They are all different shapes and sizes.

At the time I went to the Doctor who simply told me 'This can sometimes happen to boys your age, there is nothing to worry about'.

I am now 23 and the lumps are still there, just as before - So I'm wondering, during a cycle, how the hell would I be able to tell if I was developing gyno? From what I've read by far the main way of being able to tell is developing lumps, which for me would be a near impossible, 'needle in a haystack' type scenario :/

The only other symptom I've read is tender puffy nipples, which to me seems like it'd be much harder to try and assess than feeling a full blown lump in there.

---ALSO

Could the fact that I developed this during puberty mean that I'll be even more susceptible to gyno? Was it actually a form of gyno? Or something else?

Any ideas?

The fact that you experienced pubescent gynecomastia and still exhibit some of the symptoms is almost a sure-fire indicator that you will be more inclined to suffer from the condition as a result of AAS use.

If you choose to cycle, stick with non-aromatizing compounds or use and Aromatase inhibitor (AI) from the get go.

Fact is YOU HAVE YNO NOW! thats a fact, its not from steroids but you have it, and yes this somtimes happens and is nothign to worry about (for most) but your more inclinded to get it now id feel.
use an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on cycle and try not tu sue compounds that aromise too much

Thanks for the replies guys -

One thing I need to correct is that actually at the time the lumps were just one large lump behind each of the nipple. (It was hard to remember about 8 years ago).

So now I am left with small, dispersed lumps spread around the pec.

So juced_porkchop + cashout, do you still think this shows that I STILL have gyno right now? Surely I haven't had a hormonal imbalance for 8 years and exhibited no other symptoms?

Surely there is a possibility that I had the gyno at the time, and this is just the left over tissue - For example, like someone who had acne as a teen, and is left with scars?

I mean, by that reasoning and from what your saying - If I'm susceptible to gyno because I had it as a teen, then someone who has acne as a teen will get that if they cycle too?

Yes and yes.

As you described it, you likely had gynecomastia and still have the condition. Your one large "lump" has, over time and a stabilization of your hormones, reduced in size to a seemingly smaller collection.

Once hormone levels reach a bio-equilibrium, gynecomastia typically subsides. However, one may have lingering nodules that never go away without surgery.

As such, you'll likely see a reemergence of the issue with AAS use.

As for acne, in most cases, the sebaceous oil glands are, like gynecomstia, stimulated hormonally. For acne, the androgenic component of testosterone is most commonly the cause. So, if you add an androgen to you system in excess and you had a problem previously, you'll likely have issues again. Your genetics dictate it.

I see. Very interesting.

I suppose now it's a case of me doing the research (plus eventually experimenting for myself) into how much Aromatase inhibitor (AI) to use Vs. not crippling gains.

Thanks again for the help :)

agree big time....be safe than sorry, and in my opinion,i would use 25mg/day from the start

I have got the same problem as OP. You think 25mg of aromasin ED would take care of it? Would this hinder gains much?

Everyone says test only for a first cycle, but some have suggested in this thread to go with a compound that aromatizes less. Which compounds are being suggested?
