I have been injecting into my glutes but today when I stuck it in my glute it felt like I had been shot in the ass and bled quite a bit so I decided to try my delt for the first time. I went in at 90 degrees and didnt inject it too quickly and when I pulled out there was no blood but my arm instantly swelled up a strange shape. I masaged my delt with a swab for a couple minutes and its fine now. Is this normal. I used a 1.25 inch blue and went in all the way so I must of hit the muscle.

Yep, that's likely what happened. Especially if it's virgin muscle. Expect to be sore for a few days.
No, you didn't waste any oil - even if you injected into the interstitial space between muscles in your shoulder, it will still be absorbed.

Thats a relief. Cheers mate. Never had a problem with my glutes. Should I not use the rest of these 1.25 " blues in my delts then
