injecting

there was a long thread on this a while back where someone was experimenting, i seem to remember it was absorbed more quickly and it hurt about 10 times as much.....why would you want to though ?

You can do it the only real issue is the volume with oil based products. .5ml of oil can easily be injected sub q but anything larger and youll get a big hard lump and possibly risk an abcess. Im injecting .5ml of test prop eod sub q with no problems to report.

I also want to do it with 0,5ml test p eod

so you don't have a problem? that is good news. Do you feel the same as IM injecting?

and why? because it is easy

I inject Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) .5ml subq and don't like it one bit...makes a hard knot and stings for 30mins can't imagine test p being nice at all....my IM injections are much nicer.

I find if I mix the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) with bac water it stings when injecting but soon after it stops I've personally never had knots from it. When I mix it with the water in the amp that it's supplied with it doesn't hurt a bit.

I think I just give it a go.

If it hurts I can alway's do it the normal way.

This is a study about injecting IS

Saudi Med J. 2006 Dec;27(12):1843-6.

Subcutaneous administration of testosterone. A pilot study report.Al-Futaisi AM, Al-Zakwani IS, Almahrezi AM, Morris D.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of low doses of subcutaneous testosterone in hypogonadal men since the intramuscular route, which is the most widely used form of testosterone replacement therapy, is inconvenient to many patients. METHODS: All men with primary and secondary hypogonadism attending the reproductive endocrine clinic at Royal Victoria Hospital, Monteral, Quebec, Canada, were invited to participate in the study. Subjects were enrolled from January 2002 till December 2002. Patients were asked to self-administer weekly low doses of testosterone enanthate using 0.5 ml insulin syringe. RESULTS: A total of 22 patients were enrolled in the study. The mean trough was 14.48 +/- 3.14 nmol/L and peak total testosterone was 21.65 +/- 7.32 nmol/L. For the free testosterone the average trough was 59.94 +/- 20.60 pmol/L and the peak was 85.17 +/- 32.88 pmol/L. All of the patients delivered testosterone with ease and no local reactions were reported. CONCLUSION: Therapy with weekly subcutaneous testosterone produced serum levels that were within the normal range in 100% of patients for both peak and trough levels. This is the first report, which demonstrated the efficacy of delivering weekly testosterone using this cheap, safe, and less painful subcutaneous route.PMID: 17143361 [PubMed - in process]

I'm not going to inject on water based but oil based

Sub q injections are actually gaining popularity in the HRT/TRT field. I see you found a study.

Ive had no problems and i feel like one should who is taking 150mg a week of prop. I use a slin pin but i inject in a bodypart with lower fat like deltoid, bicep, lat, or traps. I dont pinch the skin up either like you normally would with a sub q shot so i suppose some might be getting in the muscle. Anyhow, I choose to do it that way to prevent scar tissue buildup from the longer, bigger gauge needles. This is something im experimenting with to stay on between cycles. Of course on cycle i inject IM cause im putting in 1.5 ml eod.

I've just done my 3rd subq of sust 250 (0.5ml every 3 days).

Painless injection but it hurts like a bitch for 3 days after. My last shot I split into two to see if a lower site dose makes a difference.
