Correct. Please if you feel you don't have an infection you should know not to fool around with anti-biotic med. They tell you to use all the script which in most cases a Ten day supply so you kill all the infection and don't have to re-start hence the infections and other infections don't build up a tolerance. This is important protocol with antibiotics.
Ha we're not doctors but if it's broke see the doc, if it aint broke DON'T fix it. Leave it alone

You told me I answered my own question but to your point I was asking to be safe I didn't want to take an anti biotic if I didn't need it.

Your study is from 1996 and is based off an oral medication in children. Penicillin g is an injectable suspension. Not the same bud. Amoxacillin doesn't treat staff infections which could be common with site injections...

No it doesn't neccissarily mean infection. Youll have a pretty good idea if it does become infected.
