I've read a lot of posts on people getting muscle pain/soreness after pinning, but I just wanted to be sure this is normal. This is my first cycle, and first pin.
First of all, I made the stupid mistake of pinning 250mg of test e rather than splitting it (250mg per 1mL). I pinned in my quad (the correct spot) because people only said they hated the needle pain. I felt absolutely nothing while pinning, or immediately following. However, around 4 hours later, I started to get pretty sore to the point where limping was a natural reflex. At first it felt like i got punched in that one specific spot. Today (about 36 hours later) it was like a really intense muscle soreness in that whole vicinity (upper quad).
Is this normal for "virgin muscles"? I'm very lean (about 9% or less), used a 23g 1" needle. There is no redness, swelling, or itchiness. And no fever. Really no signs of an infection at all. Just a rippin' quad muscle.
Sorry for the noob post, but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!
