is it possible to sterilize oil in microwave?

this is just a thought that popped in my head the other day, would this work? How long? Im not talking gear but just oil. I have some prop that needs diluting and I dont feel like doing the oven thing. Ill do it I its the only way but its an idea.

Filtering is a must. Baking...up to you, but the microwave wont do what an oven will unless you believe in heat cycle sterilization which sounds good on paper. We been doin this for a while, dont fix what aint broke bro.

even if the microwave did get the required temp to kill bacteria it has to be sustained for a minimum of 1 hour to be effective.
