Is there a way to enhance virilization in men?

Hi,

So, found out not too long ago that my test levels were not what they should be. Not even close. I'm 26, and have very poor virilization. That is to say, during puberty, my body did not acquire too much masculinization.

Is there a way I can enhance my appearance with HGH or test or a combo of both to enhance masculinization? I look very young, kind of like a 15 year old, and I get carded for damn lotto tickets. I'm short, too, which doesn't exactly make this situation any better. Basically, my life is kind of a nightmare because of this. I need help, but I need some guidance. Can anyone recommend a strategy? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Some stats:
- 5'5
- 150 pounds (guessing around 30-35% body fat, all concentrated in the gut)
- 1.23 NG/DL of free test measured about a month ago
- 62 PG/ML of E2/estrodial measured at the same time
- literally have not changed in physical appearance since around 16 or 17.
- I'm not taken seriously for my age, and it's causing some serious depression. Seeing a therapist is virtually a waste of my time and money because this is purely environmental, so I'd like to take a shot at physically treating this.

Any help is greatly appreciated. And no, I'm not a female trying to become a male, just a regular guy who got fucked over during puberty. Thanks.

Also, before anyone says "go see a doctor"; I have, and the doctors refused to treat me because of my age. I'm waiting for an appointment to see an Endo for possible XXY mosaicism, but it may be a year (I'm in Canada) before I find out what's up. I'm at the point where I am willing to go underground because I just don't care anymore, I just want to move on with my life. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I can tell you from personal experience, that it will definatly cause masculinization. I, like you, didn't fully mature during puberty. Trt corrected it for me. Good luck.

Smoke, don't roll over when they tell you it will take forever to see an Endo. Insist on it. Now. I don't care what country you're in - you will be able to get the medical treatment you need - now.

Read a lot, and work out what symptoms you have that are urgent. Explain that your depression is pushing you towards suicide. (Maybe take that one gently!)

Thanks for the responses, guys. I was pretty depressed when I typed this last night. Just arrived at work a few minutes ago, and had a fun moodswing/crying spell, whatever the hell I experienced during my morning commute. I had a lot more sleep than usual last night, maybe the bit of extra T converted to E2. Wouldn't doubt it with this gut I have.

Do you guys recommend I go underground (blackmarket meds) until I can get the doctors to comply with my wishes? I really need these meds now as it (the depression) is seriously affecting my performance at work. It's a new job, too, so it is making me a tad nervous because I'm not working anywhere near as good as I could, and I have a month left before the probationary period ends. Sorry for making a different thread; I felt the scope of this discussion was somewhat different than the other thread I had created the other day. Thanks.

I have been doing a lot of reading on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) regimens today, and am thinking of doing the following:

2 x 125 mg of cyponiate a week - 3 days apart
On Sun and Wed?

HCG 1000 ui a week - 1 shot, in between testosterone shots - Mon, or Tues?

ameridex/anastrozole 0.5mg x 2 (total 1 mg a week), taken on days I inject test.

I already have high E2 as it stands and read that I should take 1 mg of ameridex the week prior to starting injections in order to prevent aromatization.

----- Second Phase

After starting medication:
- write in journal daily to document any positive/negative physiological/pshycological changes.

After 8-10 weeks:
- Get blood levels tested - Check the following:

-E2
-free and total test
-SHBH
-IGF1
-LH and FSH

If I do feel good, at time of blood test, use that as future baseline and continue testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) regimen.

My goal is to basically reduce E2 and Increase test while aiming for a stable level throughout treatment. That is what I HOPE for anyways.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I don't think you'll get anyone on here to recommend that. I certainly don't. However, if you go that route then know the legal risks. Also you run a risk of contaminated and/or underdosed product. My suggestion, if you are in the states get with a reputable testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinic. Otherwise wait for the endo appointment. As far as protocol, everyone is different and you and your doctor will have to guage the way you respond to treatment. Getting "dialed in" is a process we all have to go through when starting treatment.

Also smoke, if you start your own treatment now and get everything like you want it then what reason will a doctor have to put you on treatment? Wait for the appointment bro. I know it's hard but go through the proper channels.

Smoke: I think that's a great starting point and it shows you've done stacks of research. (Please bear in mind that there are a lot more people here far more experienced than me!)

I haven't seen anything conclusive as to why you can't pin the T and the HCG at the same time. The T will have a long half-life, so after maybe five injections your T levels won't vary by more than 20% or so. Therefore to me it seems that you may as well do the HCG at the same time, as it's just less hassle to do two injections at once.

I think that with your history you'll be increasing your anastrozole to 2mg per week, but take notice of your body and what it is telling you. In my case I cry a lot at beautiful things (always have) which my kids think is hilarious, but when I found it happening too much I doubled the A dose. I am now on your 0.5mg twice a week but am watching it closely as it might need to go to 1mg twice a week. (But I'm not sure, as I've been using a scrotal transdermal, just moved to injectable, and the research indicates that scrotal application increases armoatization so maybe it won't go up even though my T levels go up from T enthanate.)

"After starting medication: write in journal daily to document any positive/negative physiological/psychological changes."

Start that now. If you can find some questionnaires that are relevant, fill them in now and then do it again a couple of months after starting. This is a gradual thing for me so I really hadn't realised how far I had come until I went back to the empirical results of earlier questionnaires and compared them to what I'm like now. Wow.

Re physical: take photos, take measurements, stick them in a spreadsheet, keep it safe. I find it fascinating to go back to detailed notes I took thirty years ago (yes, long before you were born! And photos and videos from far earlier . . .).

Edit: Following HC1's posts - I agree: don't go UG; do everything you can to get legal under your health scheme. It took me six months to jump through all the hoops, but now I am guaranteed a cheap and legal souce of pretty much anything I want. (A smart doctor helps, of course.)

From your starting post on the other thread - if you don't qualify for legal testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) right now I'll be very, very surprised.

I'm def not a doctor but from what you've said you def need to see an endo. The hell with the "black market" you've got a real case on your hands you're not some dude with an unreasonable request. Be careful of people offering you this or that, do it right & see a doctor. It'll be fine. It takes courage to put it all out there. Much respect & good luck brother.

Let us know how it all pans out. Check YouTube there's lots of people's videos with similar masculine development issues and you can see their entire course of treatment and how it helped them.

Keep your head up brother you'll be okay.

Seconded. It's hard to stay positive with a head full of brain fog and a body that won't cooperate. We've all been there. Stay persistant and you will find sucess. :elephant: Good luck brother.
