First, the pain is normal for your first 4/5 shots, virgin muscles, after a while you wont feel much pain, if you only have 1 1/4 for needles I'd insert about 1 inch in, what gauge are you using? usually 22g to 25g is good, I prefer 23g over anything else, 22 is sorta big & 25 is way too slow injecting the stuff, specially when the wife is in the next room and you're trying to hurry. can't remember who it was but guy on here posted a thread on how to inject, look for it you might find it, lol hope this helps..
How many cc's did you inject? First time I ever injected it was 2 cc's to the quad. That's not a lot of fuid to me now, but it was then. Especially to my virgin quad. It was dead for a week.
im injecting 1cc, and i'm on my third occasion of pinning in my left quad, (the side that gives me the most pain, i'm hoping the pain will start to get less and less!
I use 1 inch 20 ga with no problems. Draws fairly easy and injects really easy. I do get a little soreness a couple days later kinda like a bruise feeling. No problems pushing it through the skin either. Are you using a new needle every time? The needles are convenient for me because they are the same type I use on livestock. Gotta pile of them.
