Item "delivered" but not recieved

So I've purchased a product as well as shipping confirmation. Everything was going smoothly until I noticed that the item has been "delivered" but I have not received anything. Would you guys chalk it up as a loss or is it worth contacting the shipping company to see where the package is? I've sent the source an email but has this happened to you guys before?

All the time with Amazon. Usually a neighbor winds up with something, or they hide the package in a strange place. You don't have to worry about contacting the shipper to see where exactly it was delivered to, it's not like you have anything illegal in that package.




Hint: Acting suspicious often leads to suspicion from others. Being a guy that's looking for his missing package isn't anything to worry about. It's when they hold it or ask for a signature when one isn't required, that I would worry.

Yeah once it says it's delivered - you're going to start the hunting process... I had this happen
with an order of Kratom... the neighbor got it and brought it over to me.

I have had an item 'delivered' when Ive checked tracking status but no ohysical item in hand, two times. Both times they showed up the next day.

Someone else could have possibly received it or you have a lazy postal worker who wanted to go home early and puched it in but didnt deliver it. Give it a day and then start the hunt.

The hunt will probably lead to a dead end with the postal service unless contact can be made between them and the sender. Which Im guessing probably wont happen.

Doing a follow up and the complex just misplaced the package. I watched some dude go in yelling and screaming about how they misplaced his stuff. Boy was he shut down hard, I guess some people don't fully realize that being nice gets you further in life. Anyways, after this flu I'll be excited to pin and will post a log here.
