Journey to 280lbs

This log is great massive, it's nice to follow a competitors log for sure.

Id like to see your diet. Or just where your getting the bulk of your protein from. Just curious cause the only competitors I used to know trying to gain the weight your looking for really had to eat and eat and shit like Pizza, big ole buckets of chicken and lot's of delmonicos and potatoes, roast beef, slabs of ribs, ground chuck etc.... curious what meats etc.. you gain nicely off of. I do remember them saying they had to take simovastin for cholestrol and beta blocker with occasional anti anxiety. This is 5-10 yrs back Im kinda curious how you guys roll now.

Maybe you could post an example of your diet? Great log and dedication to the sport!
 
Injuries are slowly coming back now with lifting heavy. Strained AC joint which has been re-occuring over past 5year, only comes when reps go down to 6 or below. Taking painkillers and anti-inflammatorys and icying regulary.

Also strained lateral collateral ligament in left knee, again a re-occuring injury, although the only pain I normally get from it is when I deadlift, but its fine when I squat.....that one got me confused aswel. I say pain but its temporary mild discomfort like I know the injury is there. And finally there is my back problem which I have had for over 10years now. I have a tilted pelvis from a weak core stability and bad flexibilty. Pain normally comes when I put weight on fast, lower back really pumps up bad sometimes even when walking. Going physio though and pain is going slowly.

Apart from that im great, strength is up every week and im on track to hit 18st by new year.

Massive I see you split up your carbs and fats, have you noticed any differences doing this? Just started a couple weeks ago so just wondering.

Thats correct, I find that I dnt get as much bloat when I split it this way. Before when I was eating up to 1000g carbs a day I use to get massive bloat, its not a pretty look I can tell you ha.

So this time ive lowered my carbs and upped my healthy fats so that im still getting my maximum amount of calories without the bloat either.

Felt really run down and drained this morning, cold weather really kicking in now. Had no energy at all in the gym and biceps and triceps still really sore after wed workout. Decided to leave the gym after 1 set as I wasnt 100% and I like to be fully focused and fresh when I train. If I feel better tomrrow il do the workout then otherwise il just leave it til monday workout and have the weekend off.

At 248lbs nd 10wks to go the journey has ended all thanks to the restraining techniques of the police.

was helping out working on the door. me nd other doorman battling wiv 6lads, had 1 guy pinned to the floor and the police thought i was the aggressive 1, so rerstrained me, didnt resist just arm up high behing back, and snap. fractured clavicle- 6wks out.

Thanks alot pc plod, wanker.

suppose i nice compensation claim is going in which will pay for my next course of growth hormone.

Just pissed off as it wud have put me behind now for my next competition in may.

See how it heals first, dnt need an operation nd got anotherr x-ray jan11th. see wot they say then.

il keep u all posted anyways if anyfin changes

Hey guys, decided its time to go back into training. Its been 4wks since the fracture, Ive been training legs and my right hand side to try and keep some of my muscle mass, and ive just started training very light on my left arm bicep and triceps. Should be fully healed in another 2wks or so.

My bodyweight before the break was 248lbs with 7% bf.

And now its gone down to 242lbs but my bf has gone up to 10%.

Should have those figures reversed over the next 4wks, and I still want to get to 252lbs naturally before starting any juice again.

Going to start posting my weekly training sessions again, dont critique as im just easing my way back into training, plus ive lost alot of strength, though I know that I can get it all back tho, and still hit my target weight of 280lbs.
