Hi, my name is Michel Iám from the Netherlands.
I want to introduce myself, I'm almost 45 and training for about 5 to 6 years now.

The beginning was not so intensive, I just got out of the hospital with Wallenberg
syndrome (shit happens).

So I started out by doing fysio en some sports active on the Wii and it grow out
to my own home gym now on my attic, it's about 8.5mx3.5m.
My equipment holds smit machine, power rack , cable cross en so on.
After a few years of training, not getting much results, some personal issues
and reading, got me ticking.
So I went to my doc and ask'd for blood test, long story short, I Am on trt now.
Started with Gels, then went on 250mg sust for 3 weeks, we finally came to
250 mg every two weeks.
I changed the sust for enanth, the sust I had to pay for, almost 20 euro per ml.
so true some channels I got the enanth for far less.

I train and eat by schedule, only in the weekends i'll loosen it up a little, training
is 4 times a week doing at the moment UB/LB.

I'm trying to get bigger but still find it hard to gain, if it comes off older age or
by somethings else I still trying the find out.

I'm considering taking a cycle, but something is keeping my back.
I don't know if it's afraid of what can go wrong or the expectation that it is
not going to give me what i'm hoping for or that i'm not the natural anymore,
as for what you can call your self after trt.

Ill try to read as much as can about all of it and I may ask questions about some,
so hope that yáll can help me out

Welcome :wavey: As you posted you are going to read more and that's what I see you need first and foremost. Read all the stickys listed where you came in to post your thread. Then Google some general Q's and as k here.

We try first to help people to get a good education on the safe use of AAS.

It would also help as Milton posted give us your stats. But keep reading so you can ask better Q's and we don't have to spoon feed you. You need to understand for yourself.
Hey Good Luck you came to the right forum. :)

Not growing..then ..too many sets, too many body parts...Just do ONE Body Part all the time.It Should Grow.Eat More and party on the weekends to loosen up has to go.Got to go Clean. But Do ONE Body Part more than the others.Like 10 sets more around 8-12 reps for that ONE BodyPart. When you lose size in that ONE body Part while you are adding other bodyparts but with less sets and reps, one could read and tell how that ONE body Part responded to your Stimuli.

Loosen up on the weekend ? No smoking,drinking.....When you said " loosen up" hope you mean Rest day :-)

Tnx guys for the welcome.
It's not that I'm complete noob, but somethings are hard to find out by yourself.

I'm currently 5'11" and my weight is 176 lbs, I have a digital scale that says
body fat percentage is 12,5%, both i also have a caliper and the last time i measured that was approximately a month ago, I came to 13%.
the are both not the best solutions both he, better something than nothing haha

I frequently calculate me tdee if im not to far of.
Bmr sits between 1850 and 1900 cal.
Tdee I estimate at, multiplying it times 1,5, so that's around 2800 cal
i have a sedentary job, but.. cycle 2 to 3 times a week to my job, total of 50min.
at approximately 10 mph and my training exist of 4 days heavy weight training
for about 1 hour
I can attach a schedule, so you can see my food intake
*********

O and the weekends, meant not going buck wild on alcohol and shit, but
for most my food varias, mostly the protein goes down and fat tendence to
go up some.

And about the growing, it's not that I don't see any improvements, but
not as much as I would like.

When I'm trying to bulk I usually tend to gain more fat than muscle and then
when I'm trying to lean out, the weight just drops of and have the feeling
that every time the ratio is of so then a gen I lose more muscle than fat.

So my thoughts were that my training is of, but a try keep a good posture
and not let the weights control my training.

If some of you here use the Jefit app, you can find me at mi666 and
see what I do for training.

My lift stat are SQ 310 lbs, DL 448 lbs and BP 215 lbs, this are all calculated
on reps and certain weights I did.

Hmm crap , two days a go I typed bunch, apparently I did something wrong.
In the morning its , 100g oats with 200cc milk and a banana and 3 baked eggs
And as this mornings starting again with some 5gram creatine

next 2 whole wheat sandwiches, one with 100gram chicken breast and one with some 15gram chocolate sprinkles,

lunch 75gram Basmati rijst, about 150 gram of broccoli and 200 gram of chicken breast and 2 caps of omega 3

then one sandwich with 65 grams of Tuna and little Curry on it and a Oranje.

Dinner varias Around 300 grams of potatoes, around 150 gram of veggies and pork meat mostly around 125 gram or some macaroni or spaghetti, with ground beef.
And yet another 2 caps omega 3

My late night snack consist of 250 gram fat free quark

Post workout I take 30 grams of whey

I hope it goes right this time:D

usually when someone is not happy with their progress and have stats like you its very much so diet related..

do you know what your total caloric intake is on the diet you just posted?

He 3J,
Its not that iám not totally unsatisfied but I just want to put on some more mass.
As I typed in the lost post:scratchhe
Last week I came up at average kcal of 2924, divided at 43% carbs,30 % protein and 27% of fat

I must say last 2 weeks a gained 600 gram, but also gained 0,1% of fat, normally
when I'm trying to start bulking( 3 to 500 kcal above my TDEE) my gains mostly
consist of 50/50 on muscle and fat.
Can that by caused by my trt, I read a lot of people are using arimidex to push
down the estradiol.
What if read is causing for some collateral fat storage for most on stomach and
chest.
For example, my veins are almost popping out on my arms and shoulders, but my
waist got some love handles and sometimes i get some comments on my chest,
that its is somehow big:scratchhe
While that's for far most my weakest part, my thought.

Welcome
I think we have the same body type and metabolism and not be personal but food cost s more in Europe than here I m pretty sure.
When I m home in Germany they freak at my intake AND think I m TO big. Uu know ,not efficient.
My point---It s expensive to pack on muscle and like a bigger motor it cost s more to maintain it an run as well. That being said 3j s the guru and lot s of smart guy s here. U probably walk and bike more than 90 percent of member s here. Ur intake s good to know but your --
TDEE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT I BET. ???

Tnx a for the advice both of you.

I'm just trying to figure things out, what I noticed is that one preaches is this
and the other one that.

I'm in the full believe that in the beginning my low test, held my progress back.
But now i got the idee that i'm doing better on trt, but it's maybe smarter
to inject every week for stable value's.
I got the idee that i'm on a good pad now, cos me gains go up, while my
fats drop, so it's time to slowly raise my intake with some 300 kcals, and to see
what happens.
I have little understanding what concerns the macro's, het is just the tweaking
of the rest, that makes it hard and I believe there are not a lot of people
that really knows the answer to that, but I'm trying to figure it out:D
I really love being busy with this, training and food consumption, I regularly get
questions about it, so it fulfills me to help people with it, for example I helped
my brother to lose 25 kg/ 55 lbs with a food schedule.

I'm now going to follow a course that consist of sports and foods, can't wait to
begin:insane2:

@Teutonic, where do you leave no then?
We have chicken filet, it cost somewhere about 7 euro the kilo, ground beef
is about 3,5 euro per pound.
The steaks is another thing, I really love it, but damn the price is very
steep,it varias from 13,14 euro the kilo to 25,30 euro.
My girl friend occasionally compliance about all the food that i'm buying and
hell I'm eating not even that much haha.

I know I have to adjust my TDEE, but I don't want to go overboard at once,
that's why I'm going to raise it with another 300 kcal.
