Just did my 1st injection...

Okay, so I know these threads are a dime a dozen, but I thought I'd make one for the heck of it. I've been researching and posting on these boards for several months now and I finally began my cycle today! Basic 12 week cycle of Test E.

So I started off by trying the slin pin method but failed miserably :( I filled up a regular 3cc syringe with 1cc of Test E, then filled up an empty slin pin with the oil. I replaced the slin pin plunger and got it set up and injected...didn't feel a thing...only problem was I couldn't push the oil through! So there I was sitting there with the pin in my arm and not being able to move the plunger. In fear of breaking the needle and out of sheer frustration I pulled out. I opened up a new 3cc syringe and planned on doing it "the old fashion way." Unfortunately, when I tried to re-inject the oil into a fresh syringe, I forgot to put in a needle so everything came pouring out onto my shorts! I lost 1 cc of Test E!!!! I was about to flip out but I took a deep breath and chalked it up as a rookie mistake. Threw everything in the trash and started over.

Grabbed a blank 3cc syringe and threw on an 18G pin. Sucked up 1cc of the oil and switched to a 25G pin. Shot in the delt with no problems. Arm is feeling a little tender but nothing unbearable.

CLIFF NOTES:
- First day of Test E cycle
- Tried to inject using slin pin, spilled 1 cc of Test E
- Tried again doing it "old fashion" way, succeeded

Quick question -- after drawing with the 18G and then switching to a 25G, how do I prevent losing oil?

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

Lol. Thanks for the laughs. If it is any consolation whether or not they admit it most of the guys on here have done something equally foolish at one point or another.

To answer your question just suck some air into the syringe to clear the gear out of the 18g.

Thanks!

And it just got worse :( I went to go "experiment" with my liquid research chemicals (i.e. stane and dutasteride) and I spilled my bottle of dutasteride! Lost about half the bottle...

...brb going bald :o

i couldnt imagine pushing thru test in a slin pin, but then again im a noob when it comes to injections. would be sweet if i could, because i barely feel my Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) injects.

I recently did my first injection. When I got the needle in I tried to pull back on the plunger to aspirate but it did not move so I sat there and debated whether or not to inject it.

I took it out and disposed of it and the contents, went back 2 hours later after reading up on aspirating (and realizing I had done it correctly)and everything went smooth.

Good thing my vials are overfilled.
