Just did my 2nd pin....

Ok so my 1st pin was this past Monday done by a friend. She was suppose to do all them but she backed out so today was my 2nd pin and I was on my own. I did it on my thigh, kinda on the outside of my thigh. I'm using 22g 1-1/2" pins and I didn't go all the way in because I've read you should use 1" pins. Anyway, when I drew back there was no blood but some bubbles came back with it and went to the top of the fluid so injected anyway. Am I safe? Did I do it right?

Yes, the "bubbles" are just the vacuum you created with the back pressure on the plunger.

22gauge is a thicker needle than you need for injecting. I use 25g 1" needles for all shots, which is a lot more comfortable and will result in less scar tissue over the long run.

You can take the cap off and cut off 1" off the end of it and then put the base of it back on your syringe to make it easier to use a 1 1/2 inch needle to inject 1" deep.

Thanks man. I will be ordering smaller gauge and length pins for my thighs. These were for my glutes originally.
 
Yeah bro 22g 1 1/2 is a spike for the quad ...like the advice above i also use 25g 1 inch for every injection..
 
Try and stick with Terumo or B&D pins...Sharpest around.... dont skimp on pins with a cheap brand to save $5...
 
Yes you did it right bro. You did swab the top of your vial and injection site right? also like everyone is saying 23-25g for injecting.
 
lol I did the same thing first cycle 20-22g pins from tractor supply. You will never go back once you use 25g. Grab some 18g to draw with then switch to the 25g for injection.
 
I just stuck my leg with the same needle yesterday! Fuck it lol I had them laying around for no idea why hahaha
 
I got my 23g pins from medicalsupplyliquidators...they get the job donw for a minor cost. But then, I LOVE the feeling of stabbing myself...then having to shove the mini cylindrical scapule into my thigh...
eh, sterile is sterile...
 
Been pinning with 22g 1.5inch for the past year and i almost never feel a thing. But definitly gonna try a 25g soon. Any1 got any experience pinning watsan test with a 25g? Its much thicker than most Test.

I have B&D now and ordered B&D. I actually ordered 20gx1.5" syringe with needles to draw and 25gx1" and 25gx1.5" needles only to inject. 1" for my quads and 1.5" for my glutes.
 
I used a 23g pin on my thigh tuesday and its still sore, proper dead leg for days. Only had 19g pins left so pinned my delt last night with them and its ok today, they are like harpoons tho dont want to be doing that twice a week.

What size pins would you guys recommend for test e?
 
I have no pip what so ever. I can feel where I pinned on my thigh but nothing like the pip I had from my 1st pin on my glute.

No, u didn't read it correctly. I have had a stash of new in package 22X1.5 pins for some time now so I started sticking them in my quad. I dont reuse pins. That's ridiculous. It didnt feel bad at all but still prefer 23X1.. I probably shouldve been a little more clear on the previous post.. my fault
