Went to the ER, diagnosed with celulitus. resulted from my 3rd pin thiscycle. I have done my fourth pin yesterday before i went to the ER. i was on an antibiotic drip yesterday and this morning, and have oral antibiotics too. My question is...could my gear be dirty? (I SURE AS HELL DONT WANT TO END UP BACK IN THE ER) and how could my gear get dirty?! my first 2 shots didnt infect me. im almost 99% positive i was completely sterile when shooting. after the last pin i noticed some of the sus270 bubble out ontop of the rubber, is that a sign that bacteria could be getting inside the vial?

Dude.. its gotta be the gear. If not its extreme bad luck. I've pinned myself hundreds of times and never had a infection. A few scares but nothing serious...
I always pin in the bathroom...probably not the best place but I've got 2 kids and its the only place I can get some privacy.

i dont know bro-we will have to let a few other guys give their opinion-me.......I would get different gear and pin away..........if something gives me infection..........and i believe its the gear.........I wont be using that brand again.
There's a chance its not the gear. Cellulitis is caused by infection, but it could be how you injected as well. I don't know. No one knows actually. lol
Worse case, you try it again and die.

^^^ did it turn red and spread though? Also did you run a fever? Because i usually get swelling and pain a lot. That doesn't mean you have an infection if it just swells and pain. If so i would be going to the ER a lot lol

I would run the gear through a whatman filter into a new sterile sealed vial. If there was bubbling from the vial, it probably means you have loaded too much air into the vial. Cellulitis can happen even with sterile gear, just from poor injection technique, especially if you don't go deep enough. Also, cellulitis can occur without any injection whatsoever just a simply infection of the skin.
