just got my bands from elitefts

Now i gotta figure out to use them. Gonna start with some lights on DE squat day. Run a wave of three weeks probably with 250 to start, after the three weeks are up gonna do a three with just bar weight, than go back, possibly up to the mediums and run another three week wave. Very excited, now lets hope i don't kill myself.
 
One of the big problems with bands is if you are even remotely creative you will find ALL KINDS of different lifts and uses for them. That leads to overuse and overtraining/injury. I still find myself finding different ways to use them, especially for assitance work. Try straight band weight rows or militay presses in the rack sometime--WOW.

Don't neglect using them to LIGHTEN resistance also where applicable. Doing lightened benches for example is one of they best ways to build your mid/top end of the bench. I has really helped my bench while making the lift actually EASIER on the joints/connective tissue.

Thanks bro, I plan on using them a bit, they are good for getting some stuff done at home, like extra workouts. With those and ghr i got, i should be able to hit my hams pretty good at home.
 
i love useing the bands hanging from the TOP of the squat rack for reverse bench,deads,etc.

Shit, i did 3x20 of tri pushdowns with the purples and i fried my tris. I had my brother come over and try them, and he was shocked at how effective they were for this. If your tri around the elbow is really responsible for benchig i know why guys swear by tri pushdowns with the bands, it is a whole different movement than with the cable.
 
WAY better than cables for tri-pushdowns. When the purples get too easy, either pre-stretch them more, add a mini, or move to the next band.
