Kreiger's testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Journal

Kreiger's TRT Journal

I'll be 39 in July. I am 6'4", 243 lbs. I have tweaked my diet and I am down 7lbs, in the past 3-4 weeks.

I appreciate the input that I have received at this forum--especially the critique of my initial plan.

When I first joined the forum, I did buy RS Transaderm, and that gave me night boners and morning wood, which is a nice feeling, cause I hadn't experienced that in a long time.

I stopped the RS Transaderm two weeks ago and I have gone the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) route.

I was kind of shocked at first, last year my test totals were in the upper 200's, 300's and 400's; the clinic said my reading from 5/4/12 was 665ng/dl. Even so, SHBG was 48.2; Estrogen was 94; TSH/Thyroid was 1.530; DHEA was 245.2, Growth Hormone/IGF-1 was 140 and Vitamin B-12 was 719.

The plan is:
* 1 pump 20% test cream twice daily
* .25cc Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) for 25 days, then Sun & Thurs
* .5mg Anastrozole, Tues & Sat
* 1/2 grain Armour Thyroid daily in the AM
* 25mg DHEA nightly.
* the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) vials also have B-12 in it

(I could do 1.2. i.u. of growth hormone twice daily w/ Sundays off, (and I would like to) but this would be cost prohibitive with my budget. That's about $800/mo; whereas the regimine outined above is about $233/mo)

I should have my supplies Friday and be ready to go.

I will use this log to report my experience and progress.

Good Luck!

The doc wants to start with the cream and re-evaluate w/ another blood test in 6 weeks. He thinks he can push my test to 800-1000ng/dl using this protocol.

I am about a week and a half into the protocol outlined below.

The plan is:
* 1 pump 20% test cream twice daily
* .25cc hcg for 25 days, then Sun & Thurs
* .5mg Anastrozole, Tues & Sat
* 1/2 grain Armour Thyroid daily in the AM
* 25mg DHEA nightly.
* the hcg vials also have B-12 in it

As expected, it's too early to report anything. (I have taken a pre testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) pic and will compare it with a new one 90 days from now.)

However, I've been thinking about the absence of the 2 i.u. of growth hormone (twice daily w/ Sundays off) from the regimine. I found the cost of the hormone too expensive; so I passed on buying it.

Nonetheless, I have been thinking about the long-term and about IGF1LR3. I am thinking after this 90 day period is over, I will re-evaluate and think about introducing IGF1LR3 for a 4-6 week period, at 50mcg/day in the morning/post workout.

What has your experience been with this peptide? Sound like a good move?

Again, thanks for helping me strategize.

I'll be completely amazed if you can get your T levels to 1,000 on cream. I have seen no research that indicates that, though I have been researching AndroForte which is a 5% scotal cream. I have just moved to injecting, and it is so much easier and more comfortable and quicker and it is SO good not to have greasy nuts!

And I'm budgeting about $100 per month, tops.

I'm 3 mo into the TRT therapy.

I've experienced mixed results. The 2nd month, I was feeling good and "tight." But, the third month I developed a mild case of gyno wth the usage of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and my libido went in the toilet. I wasn't happy wth that; so even with the anastrazole, I still got gyno.

The regimine for the next 3 mo is:
* 1 pump 20% test cream twice daily
* .5mg Anastrozole, Tues & Sat
* 1/2 grain Armour Thyroid daily in the AM
* 25mg DHEA nightly.
* and a blood test at the end of the 3mo period

This is essentially the same as the first quarter--just no the hcg.

I'm a little over 4 months now. Libido is still in the toilet and I am frustrated; I want to have some good pussy-poundin intercourse.

The regimine has been slightly tweaked from the 8/13 post. Now 0.5mg anastrazole in the am Monday Wednesday, and Friday:

The regimine for the next 3 mo is:
* 1 pump 20% test cream twice daily
* .5mg Anastrozole, MWF
* 1/2 grain Armour Thyroid daily in the AM
* 25mg DHEA nightly.
* and a blood test at the end of the 3mo period

Independent of the doc I have added 40mcg igflr3 which I'll do one month on one month off.

On a different note from the last post ... I am a little over into two weeks of the .5mg Anastrozole MWF and I notice that I getting black chest hair at the age of 39. (I had hair on my arms and legs but not my chest and back.) Prior to this my chest was a bare as a baby's bottom. Also mood is improved.

I have been visiting steroidology and reading but not really posting. Time has been an issue with the holidays, work etc...

Since my last update, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) has been reintroduced into my regimen--25cc on Tuesdays and Sundays for 8-week blocks of time with three weeks off before restarting the cycle-- at least that's the plan. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) was reintroduced in early December. I am still taking the anastrazole three times a week and the "gyno" issue (a rarity for some people on HCG) has not resurfaced.

I am currently in a lull again. I am told by my provider (who is not "Increase my T) that I'll have my "ups" and "downs" and to roll with them. The fact is even when I have my "ups" they pale sooooo far in comparison to my libido when I was younger. I am not happy about this; I am pissed. I'll be 40 in July.

At this time, I feel as if I am "mucking round" as the previous poster had suggested. I have been looking into "self-medicating" lately. I have been checking out local gym "sources" as well as the Pinnacle site (before it went down) and more recently Andromed Lab Canada. I have also looked into where I can do my own routine testing.

I sense that if I self-medicate there will be cycling; there will be ups and downs. But my hope is, with the proper regimen, the outcome will be far better.

I am not a rash person and I hate stupidity, but I feel there is need for escalation here.

I'll continue to document my experience.

This is the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forum, if your going to be logging your experience of self medicating, do it in the steroid forum, not in here.
