Last day of PCT, when can I get bloodwork done?

I am on day 28 of 28, last day taking PCT, when can I get bloodwork done? I guess I have to wait long enough after the Nolva is out of my system? Is there a protocol for this?

To clarify what I mean, I'm hoping to get bloodwork done to see how well I've recovered from my cycle. I know there unfortunately isn't always a full recovery but I guess I just wanna know where I'm at. I followed what I believe is the best safety and recovery protocols so I'm hoping for the best.

Thanks for any help.

Really? You don't mean 6-8 weeks after the last injection? I figured I'd only need to wait a week or two til the Nolva hits insignificant levels. What else would I be waiting for?

How inaccurate would it be to do now? I guess I'm just paranoid because I don't remember feeling like crap this much when I was coming off the Nolva last time, and I'm worried my test is has really not made as much of a recovery. It's extremely difficult to tell though. I guess I just figure, if my test is very low, I should do a second 4 week "Blast" of Nolva, and that I should do it now, rather than waiting 6-8 weeks.

Hope my reasoning makes sense, I understand waiting 6-8 weeks is optimal, but I guess due to the situation I'm in, I'm really wondering how inaccurate it would be to do some bloodwork now?

Thanks again for any advice :)

FIRST what did your PCT consist of? what dosages did you run everything at?
SECOND what was your cycle? did you run deca? tren? just test? an oral?

Week 1 - 16 Test E 500mg/week
Week 1 - 12 Deca 300mg/week
Week 1 - 6 Dbol 20mg/day
Week 1 - 14 caber 1mg/week
Week 1 - 17 Adex 0.5mg EOD
Week 1 - 17 HCG 500ui/week

2 weeks after last test injection I began Nolva & Clomid

Nolva 40/40/20/20
Clomid 100/100

^ I know it sounds strange but there's reasoning behind it. I wouldn't mind discussing it but I don't want to turn this into a huge off-topic debate. Truthfully, there are thousands of different protocols. In short, I am a huge believer of Nolva-only PCTs. Clomid can add an extra bang though. I answered your question because I believe there's a chance it could be relevant to answering my question. But if you intend to pick at my cycle, I'm interested in hearing and logical suggestions, however like I said, I don't want to go too far off topic.

The reason i ask what your cycle consisted of is because if you were running Tren (as an example) and only took nolva as a post cycle you might still feel like shit due to abnormally high prolactin (possibly). i'm not questioning your knowledge base nor your cycle history, was only curious as to what the cycle consisted of. Another example would be if you were on cycle for 24 weeks i'd have expected a longer than 28 day post cycle. All you stated was "I figured I'd only need to wait a week or two til the Nolva hits insignificant levels" so i assumed you only took nolva as a post cycle. Nolva doesn't do much as far as lowering estrodial it merely blocks it from the receptors. I personally would run an AI after your final week of nolva/clomid.

You want to wait 4-6 weeks after your post cycle because your essentially raising(stimulating) your test with the nolva/clomid and when you come off the post cycle your HPTA needs a few weeks to stabalize without any external stimulation.

Also, Nothing is stopping you from doing bloods today and then doing them again in 4-6 weeks. If you can afford it then i think it would be beneficial to see your results right after pct and then 4-6 weeks after pct. so we could see how much your pct upped/lowered your levels compared to 4-6 weeks of completely natty.

An Example: My buddy just came off a 16 week cycle and he ran 1 week of clomid at 100 then nolva at 40 for 4 weeks. 2 weeks later he's got tender nips. i told him to run an AI (i believe he ran exemestane) for a week or two and now he's got 0 sensitivity and his mood/energy has increased. I'm blaming the fact that nolva doesn't significantly lower estrogen. But obviously taking bloods ASAP will tell you precisely why your feeling like crap IE. low test/high estro.

Ahh I see. Well thank you very much, I think this is one of the most informative, detailed, straight-forward answer I've ever gotten on a steroid forum haha. Sorry about my initial defensiveness. You know how things usually go around these kinda places :P

& yeah I keep hearing mixed views on running an AI during / after PCT. I think I'm gonna give it a shot. Adex 0.5mg EOD for 5 doses, 10 days total, sound about right?

I now understand totally what you mean about waiting a few weeks to stabilize without any external stimulation, great explanation.

& that's a great idea, I definitely don't mind paying twice, considering circumstances.

Thanks for everything Polishpower, real nice to get a good full answer to give me insight on everything. Sorry again for my initial defensiveness. You're a great dude! See ya around again I hope.

No worries at all my friend. I did kinda jump the gun asking all that but it helps to know what steps you've already taken before recommending stuff.
10 days is what I would do. Not to long to cause a rebound yet long enough to significantly lower it.

Let us know how the bloods look when you get em.
Best of luck!
