Leg Pain, but not from PIP

For the past few days I've been experiencing very bad pain in my legs, especially my calfs. My leg day was last Thursday, so its not from that. And I just injected my quads the other day, and its not PIP. My calfs feel like their about to burst when I walk, and their is a bit of throbbing also when im sitting. My quads though are both sore, but it isn't to painful. I can't necessarily tell if there is swelling or not, I almost want to say there is. My calfs just feel hard as rock. Went for a walk just a tad ago, thinking maybe they need a bit of stretching. Half a mile into my walk, it felt like the bone was about to snap.

What is up? Am I deficit in a nutrient or something? Just taking Test-E, and doing .25mg Armidex EOD.

Sounds like pumps to me. I don't normally see this with just test by itself, but it's possible. Do you feel like they're cramping at night when you lay down, or feel an unnecessarily high amount of heat from them when you touch them when laying down? If so, I'd look into snagging some taurine/magnesium/potassium as your electrolytes might be depleted.

what is pumps? Last night when laying down they felt like they were cramped. Heat wise, I'm not sure if they feel warm or not. I almost want to say yes, but it may be yes cause you just popped the idea in my head hah. Hmmm I do eat Sweet Potatoes which have good potassium in them. I have this non sodium salt though, that is potassium. Says 1 serving is 20% daily potassium, would snagging maybe 1 or 2 servings of this be worth while?

Its the next day and my legs still hurt. Last night I ate a banana and took 1 serving of that non sodium salt potassium salt and took a bath. I felt much better after all that. But today im having the same case. Is it possible my estrogen is low?

Low estrogen usually involves joint pain and a lack of morning wood. You can get a blood test to find out for sure, but given your dose of adex - I don't think it's likely. Here's a quick way to tell if it's electrolyte imbalance: Go to the pharmacy area of your favorite store and pick up a bottle of pedialyte. It tastes like sugared ass, but if you start to feel immediately better, that's likely the culprit. I still recommend picking up taurine as it's cheap and has so many benefits.

My .02c :)

I'll go pick up both. Never heard of the pedialyte before, but I'll try it. But also pick up the taurine cause I see it all the time on recommendations on running it during cycle. I may try the PED for 2 days to see if that works, if not switch over to start using the Taurine. Just to see like you said the culprit.

Low potasium will do that. You really need to keep your electrolytes incheck. Low potasium cam cause way worse issues than leg pain. Its been hot and humid here lately so I have been slaming bananas and gatorade and keeping my water consumption to 1/2 to 3/4 of a gallon. Water is natures diurretic so it not only cleans u out but takes all your electrolytes with it.

Good luck

Sounds like the same problem I had with my calves, and still have to some degree. They were ready to burst, and eventually within a few days of each other, they both tore.
I had various blood tests, all minerals and muscle enzymes were OK. The doctors could't fix it. Had fairly extensive physio to recover.
Anyway, after some extensive research on my part, I found that it comes down to a Magnesium deficiency (which cannot be seen in a blood test), not because I didn't take enough magnesium, but because I took too much calcium supplementation. I had surgery some time ago to repair my shoulders, and took extra calcium to help repair the bone injuries. I was also on antacid and proton pump inihibitors....all of which combined to blow my Calcium intake out of sight. I worked out my calcium /magnesium intake ratio was around 9:1. It should be something like 3:2.
The severe tightness is caused because the muscle fibres cannot relax. The magnesium in the cells is overwhelmed by the calcium, which over-excites the cells, and results in calves which twitch all day, and are under too much tension. In the gym i'm OK, but when I'm just walking around the get so tight and feel like they might tear again
I'm overcoming the problem by redressing the balance: cutting out calcium supplementation almost completely (other than a multi-mineral), gradually over-dosing on magnesium (it's not so easy because too much gives as a laxative). Its a slow process. It turns out that to fully replenish the muscle cell magnesium levels can take many months, even up to one year. Magnesium is easier to deplete than to absorb.
So check your electrolyte intake, but especially your calcium/magnesium balance. If you suspect that the balance is wrong, cut the calcium and increase the magnesium drastically.
