imo I think just like Kimbo Slice, Brock Lesnars career with the UFC was rushed. Obviously the two are uncomparable however with proper training other then back yard brawling Kimbo would have stood a chance with in the ufc. The guy never took a fight to the ground in the life and they just threw him in a ring expecting him to brawl with mixed martial artists.. They always say, a boxer wouldnt stand a chance in the ufc. In Brocks case, business/money was slowing down and he wanted to get into something new, obviously Dana and the ufc didnt think twice as the money aspect is huge. It's been a long time since Brocks ACTUAL wresling days and he should have been properly trained and got his stamina up before he got in the same. He is a rediculously big dude and honestly I think thats the only thing that got him anywhere thus far, his technique imo sucks, look as his other fights, all the guy does is throw you to the ground and hammer fist you.. If you can last 2 rounds you pretty much have a great chance of winning as the guy has NO stamina at all... Don't yell at me if you dont agree lol, this is just from what I've seen in the past.

BTW, I agree 1badmofo, Fedor is an absolute beast, but the bastard doesnt wanna make any money but agreeing to sign with the ufc! WTF lol

Dana White was a smart man to sign Lesnar! It wasn't so much for his talent, but his popularity...MONEY! and he made alot with his name on top for awhile..

Fedor would get maybe 2 big draws in the ufc...I don't think he's that good..If he was, he would be fighting in the Ufc already.. Dana would have got him already if he knew the payoff was there...

Like I said, BOTH Brock and Kimbo were quick pay off oppertunities, Brock just happened to prosper but to be honest, I think he will fall off very season just as kimbo did. They would have/will make great fighters if trained for what they are fighting for. Kimbo was a fucking backyard fighter, you cant go from that to organized martial arts and as for Brock, he wrestled fucking over 10 yrs ago and hasnt done shit since, he needed to work on stand up and stamina and even wrestling! The guy does nothing but spears dudes onto the ground and hammer fists them until the judge calls the fight. No fucking way would I step into the ring with him, but im just saying just about everyone in his class can pretty much out show him on everything but his size.

Last, I MAY be wrong, but the reason I said that bastard meaning Fedor doesnt wanna make money was, becuase to my understanding Dana has been TRYING to sign Fedor FOREVER and he has FOREVER been declining.

The reason Fedor won't fight in the UFC is because he co-owns M1, and wants M1 to co-promote the fight. He want to build his company and Dana White ain't going for it. I'm not saying he could beat anybody, but it would be nice to know how he stacked up.

lesnar ran out of gas thats all,he came out agressive and fast it cost him to loose, nothing to it, he will see his own mistake on tape correct it and hopefully he will beat cain next time around,..lesnar is the beast in ufc,.

Brock got exposed, and so did his stamina. He came out too fast and wasted too much energy. If Brock cant take you down, he cant win. He has a glass jaw and if carwin would have kept his composure like cain, carwin would already be the champ.

Thats why Fedor used to always win, he kept calm until the other person was done or made a mistake. Fedor lost his last fight because he rushed into it.

As for Brock training, he did train with some guys (Matt Hughes being one), but sitting out 5 years doing nothing is going to make him an "old man," there is no reason to wait that long. Brock wanted to do something 'real,' he tried football and that didn't work, so MMA was next. It wasn't a money play as much as he wanted to be real.

But yeah, he acted like an ass over the Bud Light commentary and such, and he was a dick to Frank Mir.
