Lift's First Cycle

Yesterday was the first delt shot and also the first hcg. The delt shot went fine considering I'm new to this. The first poke I got the needle halfway in and my delt spazzed which freaked me out so I pulled out and stuck about a half inch away. The needle got wiggled around way too much because I was injecting in a stupid position. (I was laying down on my side with my arm straight out. Today the soreness isn't bad at all and I enjoy injecting into the smaller muscle because you don't use your medial delt a whole lot in everday activities.

Reconstituting the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) was a bit of a bother but I got that done. It was also my first sub q injection. It stung a bit going in but no pain afterwards at all.

Its been 8 days since the first inject and I think the test will be hitting hard within a week or so. The effects so far have been marginal to the point that I don't know if its the test or psychological. For example my sex drive has been very high but not higher than its ever been. My roommate swears he can feel his emotions going up and down, I haven't felt anything emotional except that it's easier for me to get really mad about something if I pore it over in my head. I'm up 5-7 lbs already but I wouldn't credit this to the test, more likely just the fact that I'm back to eating lots of food.
 
Damn. Your a big mother fucker! Looks like your lats are about to rip open lol. I can see some serious gains comin outta you on this cycle.

I actually liked the delt shot the most out of all of them, what you said worked for me - since your not always pounding on it like your legs, it's less painful. I got one on friday.

As far as when the test kicked in or not, it was hard for me to tell whether or not it was physical or mental too...but once you "think" it's kicking, a week after that, it's probably kicked in. Keep up the good work....

BTW, this makes me wonder about Aboot...your huge at 275lbs @ 6'4''...he's like 260 @ 5'8'', it makes me scared.

Yeah try not to think about Aboot. He exists in a world apart from us mortals.

I'm putting the second 500mg in my right delt tonight. I'll keep everyone posted.
 
Just put 2 ccs into my right delt and another 250 iu Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) to the right of my belly button. Both injections were perfect. Felt absoultely nothing with the sub q inject. The needle went in my delt fine but it was a bit of work to aspirate with my left hand only. Also my hands get really shaky toward the middle of the inject though I am not nervous about it. I actually get kind of a rush out of injecting now. Hopefully the shakiness decreases with time. From last monday to now I have put 2 grams of test in my body. This should be hitting soon.

Workout tonight was good but only slight increase in strength. :(

Don't get too sucked in by the numbers. I don't look all that impressive. My bones must to made of lead or something. I can't really justify how much I weigh. Plus, I'm a chubby mutherfucker. :insane2:

Anyways, looking good LiftTillIDie. You can definitely see major improvements. Keep it up.
 
Aboot - It's the modest ones you gotta watch out for lol.

Lift - I totally understand what you mean about the injections...I anticipate them every 4 days, even the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is something look forward too.
 
Just got back from my upper body hypertrophy day. Workout was wonderful. I popped a couple aleve beforehand to make sure my swollen delt wouldn't bother me, but I don't think I needed them. Workout was basically pain free. At the beginning of the workout I had an extreme surge of energy and aggression, which makes me think the test might be starting to kick. I hit 315 x 4 for incline bb bench. My best is 315 x 8 so I'm gonna keep at it until I get back to 8 then increase poundage. I also did pullups for the first time since I re-injured my bicep and they were pain free as well. Did 3 x 12 no problem. Hopefully I'll be able to add weight soon.
 
Did my lower body strength day today. Squats are still far below where I want them to be but they are increasing and that's what matters. I took it easy on the good mornings and then did shrugs (which I forgot to do yesterday) and calves. I skipped the direct arm work because my left arm is still pretty swollen and my arms got hit hard yesterday.

After the workout I came home and shot 250iu Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and 500 mg test into my right quad. I decided to do this injection REALLY slowly to see if i could minimize soreness. It probably took me 3 minutes to inject 2ccs. I was supposed to do only 250 mg today but I can't help but worry that I didn't get some of the test from my messed up delt inject so today was my final inject of 500mg. Thursday will be 250.

Thank you sir. Also I weighed in yesterday at 280 with clothes. That's 12 lbs in 2 weeks for those who are counting :afro: At this rate I'll be 300 in a month. Also something I've noticed the last week or so is I'm sweating like a fucking faucet. Some of the factors I think may be contributing to this: 1. I am gaining weight again. 2. It's getting hotter outside 3. I have been tanning for the last month or so and I'm finally starting to get darker.
 
Plus your metabolism has sped up...looking good lift....looking strong. Damn I wish I started earlier in life...where would I be now???
 
I've noticed since I've been on I sweat ridiculously in the gym, but I have been drinking more water too. How's your sleep been, mines been weird, but it could be my change in bed time as well. I ran out of valarian root, gotta get some soon, stuff is sweet for me, 1 melatonin and some valerian root keep me asleep all night.
 
Great workout today. Upper body strength. Moved up in everything, especially bb rows. Today was my first day with 3 plates since my bicep got hurt again. I cranked out 7 like it was nothing. Probably could have done 10 but I was only going for 6 and I really don't want another injury.

Just injected another 500 mgs into left thigh (I know I said I'd do 250 this time but I figured I'd keep it consistant for one more week, I swear its down to 250 monday) inject was good and slow. I had my roommate time me at 1 minute per cc. Also another 250iu hcg. Anyway we're going to keep at 250iu twice a week for a while so we can increase it at the end of the cycle. The last quad inject wasn't nearly as crippling as the first but it still hurts pretty bad. Enough to make me limp when no one's looking hahaha. Hopefully they just keep getting easier. Especially now that i'm going down to 1cc per leg.
