I'm sure I'm fine but after my injection tonight blood came trickling out, it stopped after some pressure. But is this normal cause it never happened before. Did I possibly go through a vein? I felt a weird sensation about half way when going in and of course I aspirated but why is it getting so hard to pull back on the stopper? First time was easy. Let's say I was aspirating and was in a vein (not through a vein) would it be as hard to pull the stopper back or would it pull back easily while filling with blood? Sorry but still learning. Thanks.

You're fine. I find these types of threads HIGH FRIGGIN larious though! Havn't you ever gotten a shot at your docs?? And didnt they ever bleed?? Did you live through it??? Ok then.

It would have filled with blood had you hit a vein. The stopper is simply acting on pressure within the body. Just make sure you get all of the air bubbles out. We are all learning always so it's all good.

You probably passed through a vein when you were sticking yourself. You will be fine!

If you injected into a vein, you would know it. My last shot a few weeks ago, I was in a vein. I aspirated and no blood entered the syringe, so I started to inject. I got about .03CC (almost nothing) of oil into me and my arm felt funny. Almost like I could feel a heart beat through the pin and down my arm. This kind of freaked me out, so I aspirated again and ..... BLOOD.

I have also had injections where blood trickled down my arm as well. No big deal, I'm still alive!

SkedMedz the last time I got a shot from a doctor I was probably 9 or 10 but it's ok I can relate. Ifrit when you say getting all of the air bubbles out you mean before injection right? I notice some tiny bubbles coming in when I aspirate but I assume that's normal. Thanks.

yeah bro you probably went through a vein on your way in thats all, happens to me allllll the time. And yeah sometimes its a little tough to pull the stopper back, it just takes some gettin used to is all

So when its tough to pull back on the stopper do you just keep pulling till something happens?

You should only have to pull the plunger back a couple mm. You don't need to fill the syringe with 1/2CC of air. All you need is to see a little tiny bubble and you are good to go. If you see blood, pull out and use a new pin.

i never was in a vein while apirating. If i had to pull the needle out and reshoot, i dont think i would change the needle. Just dip it in alcohol and reuse. Or is there some other reason why you guys change needles (aside from it dulling. Wimps.)

I know the dulling doesn't seem that big of a deal but if you saw the pictures of the dull needle you wouldn't want to use it again, lol. Someone post it if you know what i am talking about. I suck at computers.

dude im in the military and we get tons of shots per year. Those fuckers dont asperate they dont look where their shooting, they dont give a fuck. Almost ever shoot i have a pint of blood running down my shoulder. It no big deal. Take the necessary precautions and you'll be cool.

Ive heard that in order to cause any type of damage you have to inject atleast 3cc of air. Ive been reading over at elite that some guys acually leave air in the syringe to get every spec of gear out. The one dude said, " after i here a psssst sound." LOL you like that.
