It actually does matter (how much is another question). There's a reason why manufacturers recommend dosing protocols with vitamins and minerals and supplements. Certain products will fight with each other for absorption, certain products are more readily absorbed with fat or water, certain doses of products will halt the absorption of others, certain things need food in the stomach so as not to cause problems like ulcers (aleve etc), and certain things need an empty stomach so as not to get "watered down" with everything else in the stomach. Will you render your supplement useless by not following the recommendations, probably not, but at the same time you will not be getting the full benefits either. I'd do as the label suggests whenever possible
Correct, but I was referring to the drugs he mentioned. Chances are the bottle says take 1 to 3 times daily. That really won't give him anything to go off of. I don't see a conflict between those 2 drugs. But you are correct, other supplementation timing needs to be taken into consideration as well as solubility.
Gotchya.I think he just threw fish oil out there as an example like "this can be taken whenever". But the first post he said Liv 52 is to be taken 2x a day before meals and that was off the label. Not to nitpick bc like I said you'll still see benefits but depending on the product, the benefits might be reduced substantially. You're right as far as I know, no interaction with fish oil and liv 52
Ps I just started taking 600mg NAC 2x/daily and ALA 200mg 2x/daily. Hopefully my liver likes it as much as yours lmao. Heard great things about the antioxidant ice properties and how they're precursors to glutathione.
Gotchya.
NAC is incredible. I've dealt with a lot of folks who suffered poor liver numbers, I have yet to see nac fail. It has so many benefits, Liver, kidneys, upper respiratory.. you name it. I hope you see great numbers from it!
