longer cycle or higher doseage

what yields better gains and what would you rather,longer cycle or higher doseage assuming you have same amount of gear?
an example would be

test e 1-10 at 750mg ew
or
test e 1-15 at 500mg ew
 
Depends on many factors......cycle experience and how close one is to their genetic limit, to name a couple.

There is no clear cut answer, especially with a lot of specific detail about the user.
 
For me, longer cycles are better as they give my body time to get used to the extra weight and muscle.

I couldn't agree more.

I had the pleasure of talking with Dave Palumbo a couple of weeks back and he recommends 24 week cycles. The details of the cycle aren't relevant to this thread, but he says that he believes just that. The longer you have the weight on your body, the most accustom your body is to having that weight and it fights to keep it on you.

I have experienced the same thing as Bast.

some can handled 750mg some don't

I would say duration would have a more positive impact on cycle results, depending on the difference in dosage (obviously 150mg/wk for 20wks vs 1g/wk for 10 wks are not comparable).

As usual, I recommend taking a good look at training and diet before deciding an increase in (dosage or duration of) steroids is the answer.

i also couldnt agree more. i am very against short, heavy cycles. the sides are much more prevalent as well as increased stress on your body from fluctuating in large amounts of weight rapidly. keep it low and slow.
 
Me as well, I couldnt agree more. Like homeboy stated LOW and SLOW..
 
As SC pointed out, certain factors can play a role here (stats, goals, etc.) but as general statement, I would agree w/the others that lower dosed/longer cycles will net the best restults/gains..IMHO ..and they always have for me.
Here's a little study that Ulter over at AF recently posted... it essentially showed that Mystatin (the growth factor that limits muscle tissue growth) levels during a cycle increased and were highest at the 8 week point but that they actually level out and lower back to base line by week 20.. That pretty much says that a 24 week cycle or longer would be optimal :)
