Exactly, which was the entire point I was making, if you diet and binge for a day its not going to equte to a fat gain.

If it leads to an overall caloric surplus yes it will. Thinking otherwise is factually incorrect. Thinking that all those extra calories come out in your shit, as you did in the beginning of this, is plain idiotic.
 
All the pizza I ate last night, I hoped on the scale before taking a shit, and 4lbs bloated, its gotta turn into something is what I am assuming, I dont think I coukd shit out 4lbs lol
 
I am not scientifit inclined like u guys are knowing a lot anout nutrition what turns into what, how your body adapts to fats and carbs ect, some of the stuff rippzilla amd dre post is mind blowing, lol, great info
Now my question is
My diet is set up 400gp, 380g c, 100g f,=4200 cals, now u say your body goes for the fat first then carbs for source of energy, mow should I be dropping either my fat intake or carb intake
Would I be putting on to much fat havig my diet setup like this
I also drink a lot of coffee during the day, does caffeine hinder gains as well
Coffee= subsitute for my previous alc addiction

When I was on a low carb, high fat, hih protein diet for 16 weeks it started dipping into my muscle, I felt very weak at times but lost a ton of weight
Felt at times very tired, and exhausted

Coffee won't hinder gains no. How quickly are you gaining mass or scale weight on 4200 calories
 
I think I need a new scale its all over the place, I always weigh myself in the morning
I was 217 yesterday now 221 today wtf
 
My guess would be true if we can find someone who can't eat 35000 + maintenance. And live till day 7 .. May be not 70 lbs though.
I injured myself real bad, didn't work out for 10 days, pigged out (lot less than 10 k) I gained like 5 kgs of fat (I assume)
How I know it's not water retention , cuz now I'm on day 6 , zero carbs and still so fucked up.

Seriously, think it through, does the body really convert unused calories to fat stores so efficiently?
How hard do some people find it to gain weight even when they massively overeat?

So you gained 10lbs of fat in ten days, so thats 3500 cals over maintenance every day for ten days by the textbook?

By the way, Im not the one thats arguing, I post an opinion and it gets jumped on, I dont jump all over other peoples opinions.
 
When I drop back doen to my cruise dose, u think I should maintain or cut, even crusing can u still put on some size without the exces bf, like for instance should I drop the cals down to 3800 on my cruise dose to not gain to much excess fat in the process
My goals sre to reach 240-250 before I cut, so my question is will I still be able to gain on ,my cruise without excess bf

Matt, you need very few calories over maintenance to gain muscle size.

What 2lbs a week weight gain sound good dre?

2lbs a week is a bit much Matt. You're in the territory of diminishing returns where the more weight you gain the more it will be fat. Try cutting it down to slightly over maintenance or 1lb/wk. if you're on tren it should act as a good repartitioning agent.

Sorry but dont understand what u meant by repartitioning agent

Studies have shown how tren can significantly increase the rate of net muscle gain with reduced caloric intakes. It's almost like you're doing a recomp but he tren is doing it instead of the diet.
