Looking leaner but the scale isn't moving?

Currently on 100mg/wk Cyp TRT.

I've been cutting for the last 3 weeks at a level that has always been successful in helping me drop weight before TRT.

Now, I'm averaging a scant .5-1lbs a week.:dunno: However, I look and feel leaner. My lower lats are coming in, there is far less abdominal flab, less fat near my bi/delt insertions, calves, etc etc. There's also been less fat to push the pin through near my butt every week as well. Not to mention, my strength has been maintaining/slightly increasing, despite a 500 calorie deficit.

Is it possible that I'm gaining muscle and losing fat due to the advent of my proper testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), or am I just fooling myself?

My current regimen is putting my serum test anywhere from 500-800+ (295-829 range) depending on injection date. Free test is proportionally mid to high, and e2 is in check.

I've added creatine since the beginning of my cut, but only at 3gr a day. I've never been one to notice any sort of water retention on monohydrate. I've also been using EC 3x daily from the get go, which has been enormously helpful in helping me drop some extra weight in the past, at least near the beginning of my cut.

100 week isn't that much it's all in your head bro. If anything the creatine is more anabolic than your 100mg a week.

yes- my old doctor had me on 100mg/week which didnt do much. I since switched to Chip's protocol and things are getting good!

Even considering that my test is now 2-5x what it used to be?
I'm just wondering if there's some sort of "whoosh" effect that my body may be experiencing, a sort of movement towards a new homeostasis.

Chip knows his shit. I dont know if it matters, and Im sure it will piss some off, but I consulted Chip, Im 6'3'' 330lbs 31% BF. Chip recommended his Conservative program to me. I was a bit worried about the price, so I looked for a local doc who would use my Insurance, and found a guy who is 100% all about Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and its benefits. I discussed with him, what Chip had recommended for me, at first he was a bit concerned that the doseage would be a too high, but scripted it to me anyway. Since that day, 49 days ago, the fat has literally fallen off, im down to 303 and 25% BF. Yes my BF is still really high, but there is a HUGE difference, that I can see.

The reason I mention all of this is because without consulting Chip, I would have been on the same bullsh!t program, 100-150mgs/week no Aromatase inhibitor (AI), no PCT.

You've basically described an ideal cutting situation haven't you? Is it not going fast enough?

500 calories/day x 7 days = 3,500 per week, which is ~1-pound. As far as I know (my data is several years old), it is physiologically difficult for most people to lose much more than a pound or two of pure fat a week. When you lose a lot more weight every week, it's usually a combo of water and muscle. There are obviously a lot of other variables, but I'm assuming you aren't super obese based on your description.

I'm sure the 100mg/week test probably has very little if any contribution other than making sure your t levels are enough to give you energy to get to the gym and have decent workouts.

Sounds like you are doing everything right. I bet 3J has better info on this.

have you ever though of becoming a client of mine and making the most out of your trt??

regardless, take a tailors tape measure and measure your stomach at belly button, waist, biceps without flexation, chest, thighs and use that as a baseline to tell you how your body is responding... that will help you figure out whether or not you need to change up the diet

go to 3j......... Way to cheap for what he offers you, imo, because he is a true genius. I, eventually, would love to see all maximus Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) clients paired up with 3j.

3J IS THE MAN!!!

jerhendr2203...... I am sincerely glad that i was able to help you out. And i'm happy for you that you could find a guy to use my protocol to get you the results you've been looking for. I sincerely thank you for taking the time to write your post. Best of luck to you, big fella!!

Contact Chip!

I've already got my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) regimen on lock through insurance. Everything is in range, I'm feeling like $1m.

In the future, perhaps. If my new doc-to-be (insurance change) is a quack and won't act based on my 6-7months spent with other docs, I'll be looking up Chip.

I feel as if the only weight fluctuations that have occurred have been due to water weight, stomach weight, and dump wegit differences.

Regardless, by the end of my cut I will have spent 30 days in a 500cal daily deficit (some days slightly higher, and the 500cal deficit may actually be closer to 600 on average depending on my "new maintenance"), and that's worth something.

Every day I regret more and more not taking intial pics and measurements. I will 100% be doing this before changing my course of action.

Thanks everyone!!
