lose my gut ...............................

hi i need some help lose my body fat.i am 55 years old 5.8, and weigh 222ibs.i weight train hard 4 times a week on a split routine and do 40 minutes cardio 2xweek.my body fat is about 30 percent.i have slowly cut my carbs down to lose some weight ,but its not moving.at the moment the only carbs i am on is a bowl of porridge in the morning. through the day all i eat is protien,about 150 grams any help advise please
 
seems like your starving yourself.. of course your body would shut down like that..

have you ever though about hiring someone to do your diet for you??
 
Do you even know what a macro nutrient is and how it works in the body? if you just eat protein with no fat or carbs, almost all of it is turning into glucose, protein is not an efficient energy source, decreasing carbs for long periods of time will crash your leptin level and will make it hard to lose weight, you need to have a carb up day if you're going low carb.
Hire 3j if you want more information, idk him and havent worked with him but he seems to get people results.
 
I always stay away from fat as much as possible, anything else doesn't bother me but I think you need a good diet plan by someone that you can follow.

Also You can do cardio everyday or 5 times a week i think that would be better. Also better to run at your max speed for as long as you can than a moderate speed for longer time. Just make sure your drenched in sweat, how else is that fat gonna get burned if you'r not soaked.
