Low dose Deca for joint and nerve issues

I read a reply from someone (ausinite?) yesterday and don't remember the thread or I'd have replied there. They mentioned that they runa long term/low dose of Deca for joint issues.
My questions are:
Do you run it solo, no T?
150mg per week, single pin?
At that low dose, do you need prami/caber/arimidex?
Do you think it would help sooth pinched nerve issues such as sciatica?
Thanks,
Smittiot

Hi Smitt,

I personally would never run it without test. Currently I run 150 mg of deca per week along with my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose. Deca is injected only once per week. As for prami, everyone will respond differently, personally at this dose, I do not use anything because it only affects me at doses of 300 or more.

Deca will not ease the pain of a pinched nerve. For that, I recommend 2 grams of L-Carnitine, 1 gram of Inositol and 600mg of lipoic acid.

Thanks., Austinite.
I will save my deca for my next cycle and try the other items you suggested. Getting desperate with this nerve issue. Pain has subsided from terrible to annoying, but my right quad has atrophied about 25%.
Being a middle-aged guy, I have come to know that all things take their own time to heal.

Sounds good. Be sure you're getting a mix of B vitamins, too. The serve to make the compounds listed more effective.

Also NOW products make L-Carnitine in liquid form which is more absorbable than pill form. If you can't find it, be sure t get Acetyl-L Carnitine.

Unless you know for sure that the Sciatica is NOT a functional issue with your Spine,SI joint or due to inflammation across the piriformis. ect.

ACE-inhibitors ( ALT-711 ) have proven to be VERY good at repairing nerve tissue, my wife has peripheral neuropathy that is causing degradation in hands and feet. The ALT-711 has reversed ( through clinical testing on her), it's downward trend. So if it is an actual nerve degradation issue then try ALT-711.

I have serve osteoarthritis and initially tried deca several years ago to see how it would affect my joints. I'm on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) so never had to worry about taking it without test. I initially run it at 250mg EW and experienced good results. The positive effects were temporary but measurable -- less pain through range of motion, less pain post activity, better recovery from pain after activity. It did not help much at all with the pain I get while standing. Within two weeks of discontinuing deca my arthritis symptoms returned to pre-deca levels.

I used it one other time purely in a therapeutic dose at 200mg EW and experienced similar (if not identical) results as running it at 250mg EW.

Like others have mentioned, deca isn't going to help with your pinched never. Get to a doc who can diagnose the nature of the issue and get you some options for healing properly.
