yea they're the shit.. they dont bark either.. they do yelp and howl though.. but its seldom.. high maint cuz they shed alot.. so they're outside dogs...

but i love them... i'd kill for them

cute pups jamy..... I always wanted a husky, and we finally got her this January. She is only 3 1/2 months old, so I dont know if her habits are just because she is still a pup or if its just "the Husky" nature. either way She's our baby, lol.

^^^ thats a beautiful husky.. nice lookin coat... fucked up thing is if u fix her she'll lose it..

i had to fix my female cuz she's the boys sister and i didn't want them to mate.. lack of genetic variance causes problems

damn that sucks to hear :( we dont have to get her fixed, but wanted to because we dont plan on mating her. Either way I still love these dogs and the attention they get.

Can you explain that? Im not sure what you mean by that.

just from exp.... when i fixed my girl, she lost the shine to her coat and gained weight...

remember she doesn't have hormones running through her that she would if i didn't fix her... im presupposing hypothetically that that's the case... cuz my boy still has a wonderful coat and he's not fixed.. and many husky owners that iv talked to have told me females lose their shine if they're fixed... im no expert though

Oh ok, I used to work as a registered surgical tech. for a veterinarian, that is why I was asking.
I never saw much of a difference in the coat, but I really only saw the dogs in surgery and not everyday. The risk of endometriosis (infected uterus) increases greatly when a female dog is not spayed. Which I have seen too many times, its terribly painful and expensive to treat.
