medial triceps, needsize, anybody

does anyone know of any good exercises for the medial triceps? this seems to be the most difficult head of the triceps to develop. i need more tricep mass around my elbow. i've heard that by doing throat crushers ( scullcrushers bringing the bar to the throat) puts more stress on the part of the tricep around the elbows. anyone have any ideas?
 
unfortunately you are limited by your genes as to how far down towards your elbow your tricep grows. All three heads of the tricep insert into an appeneurosis(sheet of connective tissue). You can't build up the size of this sheet only the muscles that attach to it. As far as building up your triceps try heavy compound movents such as close grip bench press and weighted dips.
 
Exactly, its genetics. Generally speaking to make up for these things, you build yourself bigger, you cant reshape a muscle without surgery.
 
i like to do skull crushers with db's... feells really good

i have the same prob as you (i think ) are you talking about the part behind the elbow... or .. maybe behind is a bad word.. right above the elbow on the tricep side lmao .. i don't know how to explain.. so ima shut up now
 
the other guys have it right, youre limited by genetics as far as shape. But the bigger they get, the less it matters anyway. My entire tricep routine generally consists of 3 exercises, close grip bench, weighted dips, and skull crushers, and thats put the last 3" on my arms
 
what exactly do u mean by wider? i hurt my shoulder doin bench a while back and dips seem to be bothersome as well.. so how should i do them so it wont injure my shoulder?

imo how much lean you put in the body position is just as important as the width as far as which body part is worked . the more upright the position the more tricep work i get and the farther over i lean my upper body the more chest/delt work i get . my shoulders cant stand wide grip either .
