Minnetonka mocasins for Lifting?

Dlove

Product of Test
I still can't find a shoe i like for pullin deads or squattin. Kinda a silly ? but anybody tried wearin mocasins or slippers for a nice natural flat feel while lifting? I find a nice pair of hardsole flat bottom minnetonka mocasins here in town. I noticed some old school bber's like wearing slippers or even going bare foot when lifting. It seems like im always twisting my ankle with sneakers. I would look to goofy in chucks at 6 foot 4 and have chicken legs for calves. Any thoughts.

i think theres some other freak on this site that wears moccs :)
if its that hard to find a shoe just bite the bullet and wear chucks..
get the all black ones they look meaner

hey dlove how you been?

I use addidas flat shoes they are the shit! They are just like those pumas that are flat.

Use pumas that are flat they do the job nicely.

But slippers those work great too..

whatever you do dont use a running shoe as they make u tip foward

Not bad now Bro. I was out on well we will say an unwanted vacation for a few months but things are cool again. I love pumas. Maybe illl get a pair of the Liga suedes they should do the trick. Running shoes have been killing me.

hey dlove ...clean out your pm box

Will do bro. That box is pretty clogged up. Im ordering another pair of pumas today. This time the skateboarding ones called the Liga's their cool shoes for around town and the gym as well. The mocasins feel great though. Truthfully, my gym if I wanted I could get away with barefeet and no shirt but I gotta build some confidence for that.

chucks or any high top bball shoe with the insole removed
Are the non-high-top chucks resonable to use? I really hate high tops. Pullinbig uses maccasins so I was thinking that might tops maybe arean't necessary. Hell, I think I would prefer maccasins more than chucks if that works. Lots of different kinds of maccosins out there however.

The Minnetonka moc's have a lifetime gurantee. They feel great plus are cool for around town. I also hate hightops. Low tops below the ankle seems like they would be more natural for lifting.

addidas is good stuff....i use 4 year old addidas shoes that are flat as hell and low to the floor...use them for deads\squats and its great.

2.99 at wallmart that is a great price ..damnn pb you a good shopper :-)

Yeah I didn't feel like waisting a lot of money on a pair of mocasin's so i tried the ones on at Wal-Mart but my feet felt so loose in them. Then i went to a little Indian store here in town and their goin out of business and i know the owner he said he would give me the minnetonkas for 30 bucks thats 20 more than the ones i tried on at wal-mart and i get a lifetime gurantee im gonna get them.

Your right though m69 those oldschool adidas would work great real flat bottom. I need a new pair of tenny's as well maybe i can find a deal on the net on a pair.

I got a pair of Otomix Pro Trainers off Ebay. Paid 35 bucks they retailed at 90. Most comfortable badass shoes ive ever owned. I will never wear another shoe for lifting.
