More Definition

I have been lifting for about 2 years now(seriously) before that it was a once a week kind of thing. In that time I have doubled my weight on just about every exercise. I am definately getting more mass but little definition. I am wondering how I can get more cut, I am not against bulking up, but especially in my abs I would like some more definition. Any tips on a more efective ab workout, or is it as simply as more cardio; as my body fat is a bit too high. Tips welcome.
 
Diet and cardio. Training abs will only help to build muscle, not get rid of the fat that is masking them. Lose the fat if you want more definition.
 
I figured as much, that is the consensus...I was just hoping for a quick fix. Ah well, I enjoy my time at the gym...rock some tunes and impress the ladies.
