ive been training for a year now ,lately i have become physically demotivated rather than mentally .my mind wants to train but my body doesnt im always tired and am stuggling through workouts.i really want to get back into hard volume training.what shall i do?

either
A. take some time off to formulate some goals for yourself and really think of why you lift weights
B. get through the workouts /its the times when you dont want to do something that tend to show how much character you have hell i worked out on new years day and christmas eve because those were my training days/ to me it doesnt matter what day it is if its my lifting and working out day

thats what i would do

bro ask yourself are you overtraining , are you getting enough rest and food or are you partying to much . any of these things can cause your problem

i cuncur. i have a copy of pumping iron, and whenever i don't feel like going to the gym i just pop it in. if that movie can't get you to want to go to the gym, nothing will. it's great motivation

Exactly what I'd recommend. Except that I actually worked out Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and at 9:00 am New Year's Day, just because that's when the workouts fell.

Personally, my motivation is the fatass I used to be, and all I have to tell myself is that to skip a workout takes me one step closer to being what I was back then: fat and lazy.

I would change my routine. I am the most obsessive person I know when it comes to training, and am always motivated to train. But I recently made some major changes, and am even more motivated than usual to get to the gym

thanks guys .some good advice .i have been training a new routine and i have chilled out on the partying .definately more energy and motivation.

cheers.

Awesome! Pumping iron. That movie always motivates me. But I have watched it 20 times, so it's wearing off.

I was just getting de-motivated recently so I just changed gyms. The new one is more trendy, way hotter chicks and good music. My workouts have really improved.
